If I advance an Iron Defender's HD does it also get a Bonus Feat every 4HD and a bonus stat point every 3 levels? What would be a good feat for it? I am a generalist artificer. Mixing hordificer, meleeficer and persistficer. I am interested in having the Iron Defender team up with me in melee. Probably share some damage around and flank with it.
I thought of using Shield Other with it. Maybe some sort of fast healing could work well. Does fast healing work on constructs?
