If a Paladin had a Rhino Warbeast could he pay to coat the Rhino's horn with adamantine, silver or something else? Asking for a paladin friend(who was thinking of a rhinoceros)

Thanks in advance, Sam

Probably not. Rhino horns grow in the same way that human fingernails grow, and if the horn isn't allowed to abrade naturally because of the coating, it can cause considerable distress to the animal.

Ring of Adamantine Touch allows its wearer to make melee and natural attacks as if it were adamantine. Sadly it costs a wooping 120k.

That brought an amusing mental image to me: "It's unrealistic for knights to wear gauntlets. If they aren't allowed to wash their hands, their poor hygiene can cause considerable distress to the knight."

There's a reference here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_war_elephants#Persians_fighting_against_el ephants.2C_18th_Century_India) to war elephants being equipped with blades for their tusks, so there is real-world precedent. I'm not aware of any rules text on the matter, though.
