As I don't know about the Vampire Rules, I thought it'd be useful to have a thread collating known information regarding D&D vampires, and how this might affect the OOtS plot
Opening topics:
1) Are Vampires in 3.5 always evil?
2) Does Durkon's behaviour as a slaved vampire have any bearing on his behaviour once "freed"?
3) Would it be possible that he could continue adventuring as the OOtS' cleric? (if he signed up with Hela for example?)
Disclaimer: The rules discussed here are in no way expected to be binding on the Giant or any OOtS-related author. Rules that the Giant ignores will be treated as non-existent for the purposes of debate. Please do not post claiming the Giant is "cheating" by ignoring or bending rules for the sake of the story, he's already bending over backwards to acknowledge the rules while still keeping the plot going (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0878.html). This thread is intended to be merely for those of us who spend more time playing Fiasco, LNoE and Dixit than 3.5 ed, so that we aren't surprised by stuff like the 3 day "incubation" limit disclaimers
