I'm always amazed at people's recall when it comes to one of almost 900 individual comic strips. I'm just curious if anyone's come up with an index of 'episodes', or if there's one somewhere on the website?

I've been having a great time reading arcs that folks link to in the "New Comic's Up" thread. I started reading in "real-time" with 410 - amazing to think the strip's still going so strong!

If you click on comics, then click on the OOTS banner, you get http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots.html (http://http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots.html). Alternatively, on a comic page, you can click the scroll-paper thing next to the right arrow to get the index.

Thanks folks! Currently burning my R&R hours this afternoon going through stuff.

Current favorite:
"chief grukgruk half orc too. other half, also orc"
"No, no, I mean i'm half-human"
"ohhhh. that imply very ugly backstory"
<cutaway>
"Come here my cuddly green snuggly-pie"
"*giggle!* me so in love!"

Finding all sorts of (possibly unintended) foreshadowing.

Belkar in the arena: "If you can't kill someone with a piece of wood, you should get out of the killing business."

168 and 879 - same tittle. I started reading around 168 and i wanted to check, the exact strip, and found this :)

See if you can spot my (new) favourite piece of foreshadowing between these strips:

http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0661.html

Only noticed it when re-reading DStP.

MitD said ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE!

:redcloak: "All I'm asking is that we TRY not to get him killed just yet."

:xykon: "Fine, I promise that we won't put the paladin in any type of enclosure with any animal, magical beast, or aberration, as part of an attempt to entertain ourselves."
MitD said ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE! ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE!
Xykon is not an animal, magical beast, or aberration, so he can fight and kill him without breaking his promise to Redcloak. What a foreshadowing!

That was brilliant. Was about to say you were wrong, then saw the white text when I hit the "Quote" button. Well played, madam.

And actually, the specific bit was
:tsutsiko: Yeah, gee, I don't know why wanting it wasn't enough to make it happen.
:mitd: I don't know either!

Turns out that's less :mitd: being stupid to think it could work, more :mitd: being like a baby attempting to walk. It knows it's clearly possible, it just can't get its balance right.

I thought Xykon was not intending to fight O'chul himself, but he ordered Tsukiko to make an undead hero that could challenge O'chul, to get around his promise to Redcloak.
