I'm looking for a way to make a version of a song that repeats, and speeds up with each repeat. I have no idea what software could do this, or how to use such software, and was wondering if the Playground could help.

Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) could do that.

You would need to manually loop each iteration and apply the Speed Up effect to each iteration.

Edit: You might also want the LAME MP3 encoder (http://lame.sourceforge.net/index.php). Assuming you're using Windows, just drag the DLL into the Audacity's Plugins folder.

I have used audicity for podcasting. It can do those effects quite easy. Give me a shout if you need a hand.

Been using Audacity for my Let's Plays, so far never had a problem with it so I'd give it a go. Can't beat a free program.
