Say I have Wild Surge +2. By using it, it increases my augment cap by +2 ML, allowing me a higher ceiling. It also gives me a free augment. At Wild Surge +2, does that give me 2 PP to use for an augment or does that give me 2 instances of a single augment?

Example:
I Manifest an Astral Construct. Does Wild Surge give me one augment, spending imaginary 2 PP for +1 construct level or does it buy two augments for +2 construct levels?

It lets you use 2 more PP.
So imagine using astral construct at lvl 5 and then imagine using it at lvl 7.
Lvl 5 is your normal use, lvl 7 is you surging.

To be clear: wild surge +x provides x pp that are spent automatically on augments and only on augments. If you use a +3 surge and apply a +4 augment, you must pay 1 pp for the augment. If you use a +3 surge and apply a +2 augment, that last pp is lost to the void.

So a Wild Surge +1 doesn't augment Astral construct, since the augment costs 2PP. It should only augment if I provide that extra 1PP, correct?

Astral Construct normally costs 2pp to augment, so if you Wild Surge +1, you would still have to pay 1pp.
