So yeah I hate to ask this like this, but I couldn't find the information anywhere...but how do I make a homebrew class? Now, I'm not talking about class balance and abilities and all that. I mean how do I physically make a class with those nicely organized tables and everything? I can't find the information on site anywhere, and I'm trying to just make a table on Excel but I'm newbie with that too, and not sure how to post it here afterward. So how do I pull it off? I have a class I really want to get some eyes on and critique for. I just need to know how to do it. Once I have this done then I can be all active here and discuss and work with people and it will be fun. So someone please help? :smalleek:

Making tables, including table presets. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205677).

It's in the set of notable threads (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124688), which is the second stickied homebrew thread.

There's a guide to it here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205677), but I should warn you, it's a lot harder then you think. You can generate tables automatically here (http://pifro.com/dnd/NEW/) - just change the Formatting to "GITP". You should read the guide first. While you'll probably end up using the generator you have to know how the formatting on here works anyways if you want to be able to edit the table.

Edit: Ninja'd. The class table generator (second link) should still prove useful though.

Cool, I didn't know there was a columspan fuction in the tables here.
But the normal plain table is very simple.

Ah I see there now. Thank you very much both of you! Yeah it probably will be hard, but worth it I think. I really like the class I set up.
