I have two more dragons I want to finish painting (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14905794#post14905794)and since there are only 10 core dragons, I'm looking for dragons that can get to gargantuan sized in 3.5 that I could paint the other two.

What else is out there?

In Epic there's the Force Dragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/dragonEpic.htm#forceDragon) and Prismatic Dragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/dragonEpic.htm#prismaticDragon)

Prismatic, like a spell set sharing its name (which their breath weapons replicate), has 7-colored scales.

Force... well, they're invisible.

There are Planar dragons for (almost?) every outer plane. A bunch of them are are draconomicon but there are more in some drag mags. There are also a few other metal dragons, steel and adamantine at least. I'll get sources in a min.
Oh, and Tome and Hex dragons from Dragmag 343, which are cooool.

Edit: Well, the below list covers basically all of them. Though a few of the planar ones aren't sourced there. They (Elysian, Gloom, Astral, and Chole) are from DragMag 344.
I could probably just update myself...

I vote Shadow Dragon and Bronze Dragon ( I know bronze is core though :smallfrown: )

Radiant Dragon looks pretty cool too both it and shadow dragon are in draconomicon.

The trick about DnD dragons is they are all physically built different (at least in their pictures) but all your models seem to be the same shape :smallfrown:
not that it really matters to much though lol
maybe after you finish painting what you've got you will make your own models to paint!

Have fun painting

Yeah, I had to make a sacrifice, same model different paint job, or different model, and no food for a month LOL.

Those dragon minis are RIDICULOUSLY priced lol.

And, of course, I will have fun painting hehe.

Yeah, no problem. I stumbled across it after the half dragon-dragon thread a few days back. Thanks to that list, my BBEG is now a half obsidian silver dragon.

Notes: Shadow dragons are the second most intelligent evil dragons.

Whats the first?

What 3.5 book are they in?

i remember seeing a three headed dragon in dragon magazine once, but it's not on the wikipedia list.

iirc it was orange in color, exclusive to forgotten realms, had no breath weapon, and lived on the plains.
