If a forsaker hates magic and is required to destroy magic items that he comes across for the sake of his abilities, how does he know that said Items are even magical? Its not like he can cast detect magic lol

Easy: Smash everything the rogue has or wants.

Hating magic doesn't necessarily mean you don't know anything about it? Knowing the enemy is half the battle after all, and why wouldn't you use every tool at your disposal to weed out the magic scum? Even if it means throwing a bit of magic around yourself. After all, magic wielded in your hands is ok, because its for a good cause right?

All Magic swords glow like a lamp 30% of the time (not 30% of time as in the day, but either they do or they don't).
People can make cheap Everburning torches for you.
After than it becomes hard to know how he knows other than asking his allies.

Actually No, you lose all your powers for 366 days if you ever use magic intentionally

Yea you wouldn't be much of a "Forsaker" if you don't actually forsake the thing you're going around trying to abolish. If your DM lets you use magic willingly as a Forsaker, you're both doing it wrong.

Forsakers can benefit from things like healing spells, but they must try to resist them even if they really need the healing. After the enemies are all dead, the forsaker and the cleric/druid/whatever that cast the heals/buffs on him are probably gonna have a problem. Might just be an argument, might be an actual fight. Forsakers can be a lot of fun to RP, but pretty tricky too. You're usually at odds with at least one member of your group at least a little bit.

Yeah, it's poorly thought out. Either the Forsaker should have continuous Detect Magic as an Extraordinary ability so that they never accidentally use a magic item, or they should have just have a Vow of Poverty (preferably getting extra class abilities and not using the actual Feat of that name, which sucks) so that they never use any items.

I have a homebrew rewrite called the Forsaker Totemist (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172094) which uses the latter method (since Totemists are nature oriented, have lots of natural weapons, and chakra binds close off magic item slots anyway).
