We all know the humans, why wouldn't we? But looking around the D&D books, there are many variants. What happens if one of these variants mix with an elf, an orc, so on? Here, my goal is to cover as much ground as possible.


Note: I have developed a hybrid system. I will -not- be using it for this.

Known Human Subraces: (Any race with the human subtype)

Humans (PHB) [We will not be making hybrids of this, for obvious reasons]
Cynideans (Elder Evils)
Empty Vessels (Eberron-CS)
Illumian (Races of Destiny)
Karsite (Tome of Magic)
Mongrelfolk (Races of Destiny)
Neanderthal (Frostburn)
Sea Kin (Races of Destiny)
Skulk (Races of Destiny)
Underfolk (Races of Destiny)
Vasharan (BoVD)

I will be covering more human variants as I hear of them, and more half-human races in time. But this is to start. If you have any questions, advice, so on, please say so. Note, I've yet to put down Level Adjustment, Im not quite sure how to calculate in this case. I could throw out random numbers but what good does that do?

Half-Elves
Cynidean/Elf:
- Medium

-Light Sensitivity (Being the only difference, this may be added. Most common to cynidean/drow hybrids as both sides have at least that)
+1 racial bonus to listen, search and spot
+2 bonus on Diplomacy and Gather information

- Naturally Psionic
- Immunity to sleep
- Low-Light Vision

- Spell Resistance: 10 + class levels
- Spell Healing
- Spellcasting Inability
- Immunity to sleep
- Low-Light Vision
+ 1 racial bonus to listen, search and spot
+ 1 racial bonus on diplomacy and gather information
- Elven Blood
Level Adjustment: +1

Mongrelfolk/Elf
+2 Constitution, -2 Charisma
- Medium
- Speed: 30
- Emulate Race
- Diffuse Blood: (Elf being an exception)
- Immunity to sleep
- Low-Light Vision
+1 racial bonus to listen, search and spot
+1 bonus on Diplomacy and gather information
+1 Bonus on Hide and Slight of Hand checks
- Elven Blood

Neanderthal/Elf
- Medium
- Speed: 30
- Immunity to sleep
- Low-Light Vision
+1 racial bonus to survival
+2 racial bonus to listen, search and spot
- Illiteracy (A neanderthal/elf might have a greater difficulty learning language than most. This may be more attributed though to such a hybrid raised among its 'human' parent's people)

Sea kin/Elf
Sadly, this page in my copy of races of destiny was torn. So, lacking the stats of the Sea kin, i cannot appropriately make a hybrid. I honestly have no idea why or where that part of the page went.
