Tali, the Children of the Glade

Alignment: Usually Chaotic Neutral
A winged fey race native to Belladonis, they live in large numbers within the twisting vines of the Tanglevine Jungle, clustering in the area known as the Ribs of Rysk. These agile little fey are natural herders, their talent with animals combined with their excellent vision (especially in the dark) and preference for a nocturnal lifestyle leds them often into working at night. They are often known to seek nighttime jobs, such as watching herds of animals or joining the town's night watch.
They enjoy building complex wooden homes high in the branches of the Tanglevine, something the elves taught them. Originally they were extravagant bird houses that the elves kept, but it caught the eyes of the Tali. Soon the Branches were filled with "Tali-Houses", much to the amusement of the elves. They often share these homes with birds, too, a mutual agreement that doesn't seem to bother either the birds or the Tali.
Tali are about 2.5 to 3 feet tall, weighting only about 15-20 pounds on average. Their big eyed child-like appearance gives them a certain cuteness and charm. They all have over-sized eyes in brilliant blues or greens and so many different natural hair colors that it puts gnome hair-dyes to shame. Their skin tones come in both darker and lighter varieties.
Both genders remain youthful and petite their entire lives, never outwardly aging. Both genders favor short hair, sometimes making it difficult to tell their genders immediately. Their wings slightly resemble a butterfly's wings, with numerous pattern and color combinations, but are thicker and covered in the tiniest feathery hairs.
