The Bloodmarked, a 3.5 race

History: A race of people that carries a trait through its bloodline. They are considered to be the children of some warlord or another who may or may not have had a pact with a certain god of evil and blood that passes through the generations. Though his children are not necessarily evil, these creatures have long carried the ability to consume and be empowered by the blood of other beings. They become faster, stronger, heartier and more intelligent the longer they live and drink blood, gaining ever greater power as they become more experienced in the arts of war.

They are often stronger and more durable because of their bloodline, but tend to be more clumsy and people are unsettled by their presence. This leads them to generally make up the front line of a battle, wearing heavy armor to make up for their lack of mobility. They tend towards martial classes. Very few Bloodmarked chose a path of peace, as combat seems to call to them from the depth of their being.

Personality: Pretty much anything they wish, though they do not view drinking blood as a mortal sin and are generally not bothered by the sight of it. This allows them to often get along with vampires and other such creatures swimmingly. They also tend to be violent or at least enjoy violence in some way, shape or form.

Alignment: Any, though they tend towards chaos almost to a fault.

Societies: If enough gather in one place, you can expect there to be a healthy flow of gladiators, warriors and slaves being brought in to fight in an arena somewhere in town. The rulers of these towns are often the wealthiest, strongest or most politically powerful and like to keep things that way. Their society favors the strong and self-sufficient, and can at times be viewed as heartless because those that can no longer provide for themselves tend to end up being drained of their blood or in the slave market, or otherwise somehow making the strangle hold of the strong more secure. But if one is strong or crafty enough to rise in this society, then they can often rise incredibly high, even if only for a short time.

Their societies tend to be seen as evil, though it really does depend on who is in power, since that will be the will that is enforced.

Religion: Any, though again there is a tendency to chaos and, more importantly, either blood or life.

Languages: Common, Undercommon, Infernal. Bonus languages: Any non-celestial

Lifespan: Long lived (unless somehow killed by outside means), the Bloodmarked never-the-less start development quickly, and then remain relatively unaged for as long as a half-millennium. As long as they have a steady diet of blood and drink a cup every month, they do not seem to age at all.

whoa! definantly not LA +0!
proficiency with 5 weapons...
the blod drinker thing is a little powerful...
and +2 bonus to 3 skills (still kinda eh but I thought I'd mention it)

I would suggest maybe +1 or possibly a weak +2
