great and small

i have a question for the locals. im looking at the feat great and small as a possible size incress option for my druid. i know it can let me grow 1 size or shrink one size but was wondering if there were any other effects that came with growing or shrinking a size catagory like str bumps or minuses dex bumps or minuses and so on. any clarification would be appreciated thank you. :D

The feat says it works like Enlarge Person (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/enlargePerson.htm)/Reduce Person (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/reducePerson.htm), so you'd have those stat changes and the like.

Increasing one size catagory generally gives you +2 str, -2 dex, -1 atk, and -1 AC, along with +4 grapple/trip/etc.

Decreasing gives +2 dex, -2 str, (these are typed as "size bonuses"), +1 atk/AC, +4 hide, -4 grapple/trip/etc.

I say generally because once you get down to Tiny some bonuses get larger faster. Working within Small, Medium, and Large, it's just as above.

You would still have the appropriate changes based on size though. Being small, you would still have -4 grapple vs a medium creature, etc (which is already accounted for via size modifiers)...so over-all, it's the same thing right?

How is getting +2 Str, -2 Dex* the same thing as getting +8 Str, -2 Dex, +4 Con, +2 NA**?

thanks for the feed back. i must have missed that in the discription. i went back and read it again and there it was. lol had my fingers crossed in hopes i would get to use the srd chart for stat incresses due to size incresses lol.
