Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

Does that count as statistics?

Of course, at level 3, even the former is crazy.

Maybe this was some sort of point-buy system where the cost of an ability is referred to as its "level?":smallconfused:

Wow. Frankly I'm a little surprised the Deck didn't have a higher death toll, though.

For whatever reason the deck ruined or impoverished many more people than it actually killed outright. I didn't include deaths due to losing everything you own to the deck or other related incidents (one character went mad with grief after a different character drew a ruin card that destroyed every location he had ever visited - which happened to include the first character's city, the last remaining outpost of his civilization).

And now for another game (Arkham, this time)

That... that sounds amazing. O___O
What system were you playing?
I was privileged to be a member of that glorious madness, and it was even better than it sounded. Our DM had updated the old Council of Wyrms setting to DnD3.5, and then we all went nuts in it.

We were all Dragons of various colours, except instead of Dragon HD we had class levels. It started with our simultaneous birth in the Council's egg room, while Ogres tried to steal the other eggs. This led to the first PC death, as the Copper Dragon bard was born on one initiative tick, and got hit by the Red Dragon's optimised breath weapon on the next tick. Total life span: slightly less than 6 seconds.

After we hunted down the egg thieves we stuck a flag in the wasteland-centre of a continent no other dragons thought was worth the effort, and immediately set about forging an Empire that made the world shake with it's might. Also was terrifying in it's inclusivity. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you have Dwarfs, Gnomes, Giants and Kobolds working with you instead of squabbling. Oh yeah, and our self-elected leader was the (roughly) Int and Wis 6 Barbarian White Dragon. Each session was only ever crazier than the last.
