Mudslide + Transmute Mud to Rock

Ok so at the end of the Mudslide it says the following: "A transmute mud to rock spell hardens the slide into stone, trapping any creatures still within."

So the question between a few friends is this.

"If you have creatures trapped in the Mudslide do they still gain a reflex save to get out of the way of the TMtR or do the creatures in the mudslide not get a save?"

I'm not sure which person to back, one says yes and the other says no but both are bordering on maybe. Neither are really passionate about their stance but they wanted outside help so I figured I would enlist the playgrounders for help.

I would give another reflex save to those who managed their saving throw for mudslide. The ones who are buried don't get one.
