I am currently building a campaign setting with homebrew rules the norm. I have a problem though with the Alignment system in the 3.X pathfinder system. Also I want my setting to have an Elemental Power feel to it right from the beginning.

My question is can anyone think of a way to integrate elements into an alignment system?

The major elements I use for my game are: Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Darkness, Light, Spirit and Void. I also have hybrid elements Storm (Water + Wind), Magma (Earth + Fire), Shadow (Light + Darkness), and so on.

There's a "colour wheel" alignment system lying around somewhere in the archives - based on the Magic The Gathering colours.
(I'm sure someone has a link to it ready to paste in here for you, but I can't find it right now. Sorry. :smallfrown:)

It's quite close to what you're thinking about. If it isn't exactly what you need, then it'll be a good base to work from.

I knew someone would help!

In MtG, the colours correspond to types of land (hence the elements) (http://www.wizards.com/mtg/images/tcg/resources/colorpie_en.jpg).
As far as elements go: Red = fire, Blue = water, and so on.

All these major element like Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Darkness, Light, Spirit and Void make it a very best and more interesting for general users specially.
