So I was re-reading the comic, and suddenly noticed:

Suddenly V's belt changes from straight black to sort of tannish/gold.

Very significantly, this shift occurred right after they found the dragon's hoard and starmetal. Traditionally, color changes and art shifts only happen when the part acquires items or new abilities.

Thoughts?

It's an art upgrade. We're supposed to make believe they were always drawn that way.

You can delete a post, but you can't delete an entire thread after people have already replied to it.
