Hey, all.

I need to map out a town with quite a few houses. I was hoping to get some recommendations on books or other sources which have floorplans for houses, shops, inns and what have you. No need to be limited to D&D, any generic or semi-generic maps will do.

For modern residential floorplans, try this site:

I think various d20 Modern supplements and Dragon/Dungeon magazine pieces had floorplans you could use.

There are in print magazines that are about home building that include floorplans. I've used them before with success.

Dungeon magazines that had the Polyhedron magazine attached also had lots of modern floorplans. I remember there being a movie theater, bowling alley, arctic outpost, fast food restaurant as well as others.

You could also use maps from specific adventures that had entire villages mapped out. I always liked the Village of Hommlet.

I thought so.
The D&D Map-a-Week archives (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mwa/archiveall) sound like they could be worth your time to peruse.
