PF Gunslinger archetypes

I'll just keep it quick and simple.

By RAW the Mysterious stranger and Pistolero Archetypes can be taken together.

Anyone with half a brain would think that Pistolero's Pistol training ability would cancel out Gun training like the musket masters equivalent ability musket training.

It doesn't. Is this a mistake? Where is the errata/official ruling? What is your opinion playground?

Paizo isn't big on errata pre-reprint, so its been stated to be an error but no official source has changed it in print.

It's an error that is supposed to be fixed at some undetermined time in the future. It's also not that big of a deal as mixing the two archetypes is mechanically inferior.
