My character is huge, I want to get her speed up to scale i.e. 90 feet.

I need to up her speed by 40, what's the easiest way to do it?

Blade Dancing Bards get a stacking movement speed class feature, so do monks (but they're monks). Expeditious retreat, fast movement, haste are all options as well

If she's Arcane, there's Animal Aspect. One option of the Greater version of the spell gives you +50 ft., and you benefit from the Run feat.

What level, and what have you already decided about the character?

Half elf, half storm giant, level 25, Sor 14, Bard 1, Godling 10.

I wonder about Staff of Travel, do you need to physically be holding it in your hand for the speed increase?

Boots of striding and springing or travel domain or longstrider + haste.

A Druid or anyone with access to the Elemental Body spell line can eventually turn into an Air Elemental for 120 ft perfect fly speed. Druids can do this by level 12, iirc.

That's single class, w/o even trying much. Add haste for another +30 ft speed. I'm not saying that's the pinnacle, but it certainly makes a good target number for comparison.

Hi

Same goes for an Oracle with one of the Elemental Mysteries.

My Pyro Halfling Oracle 8/PF Savant 1 has the Form of Flame Revelation. Only spells he can't cast are Fireball 7 Shield of Faith (have mat components).

Base speed is 50'/rnd in medium size. For 9 Hrs!

A 9th lvl Aasimar Oracle of Flame with Fav Class bonus would be counted as 13th lvl. So Huge

fleet of foot, barb 1st, alternate class feature ranger 2nd+10spd, scout 3rd,

40 base, +10 fleet of foot, +10 barb+10 ranger+10 scout=80 speed by 6th lvl

Build could be 3rd scout/1st ranger(wildshape variant)/4th scout(swift hunter bonus feat)1st barb(improved skirmish feat)5th ranger, 4th warshaper. fleet of foot +10 spd, +10 ranger+10scout +10 barb or get pounce feature instead for 60 spd

Extrapolating the cost out of the boots of springing/striding, you find this little jewel:
A +10' land speed enhancement is a 2000 gold effect.
Since most effects are priced something like ((bonus)^2)x(multiplier) we can further deduce that a land speed enhancement has a multiplier value of 20 gold. So...
10' = 2000
20' = 8000
30' = 18000
40' = 32000
Which is, ironically, the same value for a +1/+2/+3/+4 weapon.
On a side note, boots of constant Expeditious Retreat would cost 4000 gold, and would grant a constant 30' enhancement to land speed. So... I guess my previous numbers were pretty far off.
