Welcome to the sign-up thread for Convoy III: Bears in the Air. The Cola Wars ended in a tie, oddly enough, though some betrayal was schemed. The RC Cola company got the contract, allowing Pepsi to get a smaller contract.

After the epic battle, life returned to normal for the truckers. Some uneventful times passed and for a while the drivers enjoyed the break from the bizarre. A lack of giant robot battles and and crazy death-racers can be refreshing.

However, sometimes, you can only take so much relaxing before you need an unvacation and Rubber Duck had relaxed to the point of being bored. Reaching for the CB, he grinned, and called out to his fellow truckers.

From this, the convoy was reformed!

Rules

Convoy: A trucker by the name of Rubber Duck started a little ole convoy with some of his best trucker buddies. The convoy grew in size and the Bears, a.k.a police, decided that they had to take it down, so some cops took on trucker identities and infiltrated the convoy.

Every night the bears sneak into one of the sleeping truckers cabins and arrest that trucker.

Every day, when the truckers stop for the night, they find the trucker most likely to be a bear and beat the living tar out of him and kick him out of the convoy.

Lex-Kat's Typical Rules

NO 25% majority rule: That's right, for this one game, I'm eliminating the 25% rule. Let's see how it works out.

Striking Through Votes: Please strike out old votes, when changing to another. This helps out the narrators when counting the votes. When I tally the votes, if you do not do this, I will count your first vote.

End of Day Ties for lynching: The first to reach the most votes is lynched. The other gets to wipe the sweat from their brow.

Autolynches: We will be autolynching players only if they do not post for 3 days straight. Of course, if you let me know that you will be gone for more than a week, we will give you a pass.

Helgraf's Scry Interference: If two characters with a scry ability look at the same player, both will get "Interference" as a result.

FC's Rule of Narrator Invocation: If you claim that the Narrator made a mistake, and the Narrator is asked about it, the Narrator will answer honestly. So don't use the Narrator's name in vain.

Roles

Truckers

Big Ben - (Lead Mason) Rubber Duck is the trucker who started it all, but he's dead now. So Big Ben stepped in, and has been watching over the Convoy ever since.

Astro Pete, Two Gate Toss, Toothy - (Masons) Survivors of Interstating the Obvious (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92118), these truckers are the only part of the Convoy truly trusts.

Sodbuster - (Baner) He's not as big as Big Ben, and not nearly the fighter he is either. But the smell of his cargo has permanently absorbed into his skin, hair, and clothes. He doesn't need to fight an attacker off, they run for the hills just to get breath of fresh air.

Momma Bear - (Seer) After Teddy Bear died, Momma Bear joined the Convoy to watch over those who'd given her son such comfort in his last years. She listens intently to the radio to weed out any Bears looking to ambush her new family.

Micro-Bus Hippies - (Fools) These hippies are in a constant state of bliss, stoned out of their minds. They are constantly getting visions and hearing things. Occasionally their visions are right, but most of the time it'd be best to not listen to them.

Mechanic - (Smokey Detector) A new Mechanic has joined the Convoy. And just like the previous one, at night he'll often sneak out just to admire someone else's truck. This may be considered a bit rude and maybe a mite bit creepy, but its usually harmless. However, he can detect the special modifications that have been to added to Smokey's truck.
I. E. He has a night action that can scry but only discover Smokey or the Narc.

Truckers - (Villagers) These are your basic, run-of-the-mill truckers, hoping to join in the fun of a Convoy!

Bears

State Bear in the Air - (Devil) A bear who has access to a satellite. Each night he keeps it trained on one truck and watches to see if he can learn anything about the trucker.

There are two differences for the Bear/Fed in the Air.

Fed in the Air advantage: If the two Devils (and only the two Devils) scry the same player, the Fed in the Air sees through the static of Helgraf's Scry Interference.

Bear in the Air advantage: The Bear in the Air can find the Fed's Narc, but the Fed in the Air cannot see the Bear's Smokey.

State Smokey - (alpha-ish) This bear has been working undercover as a trucker for so long that any check on his handle comes up as legit. He scries as a trucker. He doesn't get to hand pick the other Bears.

The FBI

That's right, there are two villain teams. And just like most Law Enforcement agencies, according to TeeVee Dramas, they are not working together.

Neutrals

Rusty Nail - Can you believe it? Once again some crazy kids messed with this psycho. :smallsigh: And just like last time, they made him so mad and so upset that he will see them dead. He knows that they are in this convoy, he just doesn't know where. Each night he will sneak into a cabin and kill a trucker. Once all three truckers that he is after are gone (either by arrest, beat down or he killed them) he will leave the convoy and disappear. (For either the Bears or the Truckers to receive the "Best" ending at the end of the game, they must find Rusty Nail and bring him to justice.)

Pranksters - you know that you are one of the people that Rusty Nail is after. You don't know the names of the others.


NEW REUSED RULE: Join the Convoy. Every 4th day, someone from outside the game may join the convoy. The person entering decides whether they would like to be a bear or a trucker.

The game will start with the first 20 players. After that, any who join as Auto-Lynch replacements can will be introduced into the game every fourth day, whether there is an Auto-Lynch or not. And just like in the original, the player decides which team he wishes to join.


Players: The main rule of Convoy is to enjoy yourself. Don't take it too seriously and remember its just a game. If you want to play, I'll be happy to have you in the convoy. I am going to need a handle and a cargo from you, though. Not that it will matters, but I think the flavor text will make the game a bit more interesting. Also, if you would rather have a vehicle other than a truck, that's fine. Be creative, be silly, be fun!!

Because this game is called: Bears in the Air, I've added the option of having two Bear teams, each working for themselves. But this will only work if I can get the initial 20 players.

If I do get two Bear teams, there will only be one night kill, each night. Every odd numbered night, the Bears will have the kill. Every even numbered night, the Feds will have the kill.

Again though, this will only work if I get 20 initial players. Without that, I'll drop the Fed team.

NOTE: As some who have played recent Lex-Kat games may notice, the first few players who are Night Killed or Lynched are often asked to rejoin as Auto-Lynch replacements, as long as they had no knowledge of other players roles. Boy howdy are you in a heap of trouble. You didn't grab a tiger by the tail, you chose to play with something much more deadly. And now, due to your actions, the whole Convoy is in trouble.

You're after a couple Pranksters who decided it'd be funny to convince you they were a couple girls looking for a good time, then leave you in some flea-bag hotel, holding a bill for not only it, but two large anchovy pizzas as well.

Luckily, you happen to like anchovies.

Starting Night 2, and every other night thereafter, you get to choose one target to Kill, looking for the Pranksters. You win when both Pranksters have been eliminated from the game, by your hands or not.

IMPORTANT: If anyone (of the 1st 20) did not receive a PM, PM me to let me know.

Night 0

It was a cold and wet night as the Convoy started up. Big Ben, followed by his most trusted friends, stepped out of the greasy spoon restaurant, carrying a small box. Big Ben hugged it under his all-weather vest, protecting the valuable item from the rain. "Come on, boys. We need to get this package to Millinocket, Maine. And I mean to get there by the end of this week."

"One week!?" Astro Pete called out, stunned. "I don't know if that's possible."

Two Gate Toss clapped Astro Pete on the shoulder. "Scared, Petey?" he taunted.

Toothy just grinned like a madman, sending shivers up Astro Pete's spine. "Knock that off, Toothy. And put your teeth back in. It's disturbing." He looks to Big Ben. "I ain't scared, Big Ben. But what's the rush? Maine ain't going anywhere. And Rubber Duck, he's certainly not getting..."

Astro Pete's sentence was cut short as Big Ben stared him down. "We'll make it in one week, Pete. I promised the Duck we'd be there in time."

Astro Pete shrugged. "Okay boss. We're with you all the way, you know that."

Big Ben continued on to his truck. Astro Pete turned to look at the other two, confused. "In time for what?" he mouthed, silent in the heavy rain.

The other two shrugged in unison. They didn't know either.

An hour later, the Convoy was rolling, followed by the usual hanger-ons: a suicide jockey, an air pollutin' pork carrier, a micro-bus filled with long-haired freaks, and various other truckers.

Boys, it looks like we got us a Convoy!

"Hold yer dingoes, Slayer," comes a response over the radio after a short time. "Ya know it's hard to hear this thing over the sound of 10 jet engines! An' I think Otakuryoga mighta sabotaged 'em too!"

The massive ground-effect craft - painted oddly like a certain 18-wheeler Transformer - lifts off the water of a conveneint lake, moving over the shore with a roar as it maneuvers onto the road. :smalleek:

Day 1

During the first day, many truckers joined the convoy. Many of them Big Ben had never heard of before, other he knew only over the chat-box. One thing they all had in common, they all wanted to pay their respects to the Duck. Or so they claimed.

Big Ben and his crew knew there were likely Bears among them, waiting for any excuse to disrupt this convoy on trumped up charges. And Big Ben was determined to not let that happen.

And so it was, that at Exit 14, just outside of La Mesa, California, an odd looking truck pulled in among them. "Alrighty you landlubbers, its time to set sail on this here cruise. Gotta get the cargo movin' to the right port o' call."

The truck itself was a Kenworth T600, looked to be early `90s model. But that wasn't what caught everyone's attention. The trailer was painted with a Ohio class submarine, and the driver called himself Bubblehead.

"Tsk tsk Sbahjer, the idea is to be stealthy, not announce yourself to everyone within sight." the new addition reprimanded a strange rookie driver.

Big Ben turned the signal to a separate bandwidth, hoping to find some allies on another channel. "Listen here, friends. We may have a Bear here, or he could be a Smokin' Salmon. But I don't feel like dealing with him for now. Can you fellas take care of him for us?"

"HE tsk'd meh! You an't getta ask TWICE." Sbahjer squeaked back almost immediately.

"It'll be a shame, but I'll do it, just to be sure it's done right." Ol' Poppa called.

A double click was heard, but no voice. Big Ben took that as an affirmative.

And lastly the strange man in the even stranger Sea Monster hovercraft-thing, chimed in. "Oh yeah! This thing is awesome!! Woohoo!!"

Big Ben quickly got off the channel, and back on his normal frequency. "Much safer here." He mumbled to himself.

A few miles down the road, he noticed two trucks, and a robot-horse drawn carriage, force the Submarine detailed tractor-trailer off the next exit. He prayed they didn't harm him. Bubblehead just seemed fishy for some reason, but he wasn't positive.

Bubblehead hopped out of his truck, heading toward Ol' Poppa's. "What's up, Ol' Poppa?" he asked friendly enough.

Ol' Poppa just shook his head. "Just get back in the cab, Bubblehead, and I'll try to keep the damage to a minimum."

Bubblehead knew this was not going to turn out good for him. It was three against one, but he was sure he could take them, if he got Ol' Poppa first. But his move to defend himself and his truck was interrupted by a loud roaring machine.

The Kaspian Sea Monster, painted in the colors of a certain transforming semi-truck, roared up beside them all, scaring even his allies. Everyone scattered and jumped into their riggs. Holy ****** ******!!

Ned Kelly leans out his window and fires off a couple shots at Bubblehead's truck. One front tire bursts open, and then the radiator begins to steam. Oops! Sorry, I missed the other tire. And then the monstrous machine continues on.

The other four truckers are left watching in stunned silence as the madman leaves the scene. That's.... That's just crazy. Bubblehead turns to Ol' Poppa. You trust him more than me! he asks, astounded.

Ol' Poppa just shrugs as the other two drivers drive off. He pulls up beside Bubblehead's wrecked rig and tosses out a small roll of twenties. Sorry `bout that. Hope this helps a little. And then he too drives away, thankful no one was seriously hurt.

Otakuryoga was left behind, his left front tire and radiator shot. He was a Trucker.

Later that night, the convoy drove into the military city of Yuma, Arizona. A lot of truckers liked the small city, and more than a few of them had families that lived there.

Lord Duke was not one of them. He despised small cities. And even though this one was far from the smallest, he felt trapped just driving through. He decided he'd find someplace better in Phoenix, about two hours North. And as that's the way the Convoy was heading next, he wouldn't be losing time.

But such was his rush to get out of town, that he didn't slow when he saw the green light turn yellow. He was certain he could beat it, and he almost did.

Unfortunately, almost isn't quite good enough for John Q. Larcen, and he flipped on his lights and went after the strange vehicle.

Lord Duke sighed, and pulled on the reins, slowing his horses down, and then stopping. He could try to outrun the lawman, but his cargo was too precious. It was better to just get the ticket and move along.

John Q. pulled up behind the carriage, grinning like he'd just one the lottery. This was certainly one of them Cali-forn-i-a people, flaunting one of his new "green" vehicles. Well this boy was in for a long night, if he had anything to say about it.

John Q. took his time getting out of his vehicle, better to let the weirdo sweat it. And the more he sweated, the more likely he was to do something stupid. He finally got out, and moseyed on up to the rider. "Son, do you know why I pulled you over?" He said, looking up at Lord Duke. "You know what?" he said, not letting Lord Duke answer the first question. "I don't like you sitting up there. Why don't you come on down so we can talk face to face." And he stepped back, waving the rider down.

Lord Duke rolled his eyes, but got down. It was going to be a loooong night.

Lord Duke (Count Dingdong) was arrested, mostly on false charges. He was Prankster 2.

The LLama zoomed alongside the Convoy. A small wagon filled with NERF guns was tied to the back. Is his mind he was a trucker. In reality, he was breaking several bumpercar safety regulations and a couple of rules of physics, but he didn't care. He was having fun!

Day 2

The Convoy was moving along quite well. Everything seemed to be in order, and Big Ben didn't notice anything suspicious. Well, anything more suspicious than what'd already happened thus far.

He did notice however the pepper shaker truck jockeying for position, to get closer to the front.

That's when all heck broke loose. At first it didn't seem like it was going to be a problem. The trucker in the JPEGd truck began sneezing as he was talking about what Big Ben assumed was a basketball game, but wasn't one hundred percent positive.

But he didn't stop sneezing. And soon the truck was weaving all across the freeway. "Sbahjer, you need to pull over, son. You're...."

But he didn't get to finish his sentence. From the big side-view mirrors, Big Ben, and everyone else presumably, saw an explosion of colors erupt from the truck, spraying the freeway and everyone behind Sbahjer in JPEG.

There was nothing anyone could do as they watched Sbahjer's truck careen toward the median, except pray to whatever gods they believed in. Somehow the man behind the wheel was aware enough to stomp on the brake and turn the wheel to the right again, sending him straight down the grassy ditch where he came to a complete stop.

There was no time to lose though. A couple trucks pulled off to make sure Sbahjer was okay, but the rest of the convoy kept on truckin'.

Sbahjer (Super Dark33) had a sneezing fit and lost control of his truck and the JPEG coloring. He was a Trucker.

Night 2

As the convoy neared Albuquerque, New Mexico, they had to slow down as citizens of the city crowded the streets to cheer them on. Big Ben had known this was going to happen, as it was Rubber Duck's adopted home town after `nam. Men and women alike were weeping in the streets as they rolled by.

Big Ben noticed that a lot of the children were crying too. He suspected that some of them may have even been fathered by his good friend.

As the slow moving funeral convoy made it's way toward the end of town, he began to hear reports over the CB of the children forgetting their tears, and instead flocking around one of the trailers excitedly. As more reports came in, he was informed that one of the truckers had pulled over to put on a show for them.

Ol' Poppa had decided he couldn't stand to see the children unhappy, so he pulled over, and after a moment, appeared on the back of his truck in a tight wetsuit, waving to the crowd. "Hello folks. Step right up. Fun for all the girls and boys. Parents too, if you wish to forget the blues." And without a word of warning, he dove head first into the back of his truck.

The special motion activated lights came on, vanquishing the blackness that'd made the water a clean blue. And out came his penguin friends, who swam with him to the enjoyment to everyone. As the crowd began to shift their attention away from the convoy, the rest of the truckers found it increasingly easier to drive through. Sure some continued to weep, but most would rather be happy than remember their sadness.

It was night by the time Ol' Poppa slipped out of the water tank, shivering. One pretty senorita stood there, handing him a towel. "That was a wonderful thing you did, Mister...?"

"My friends call me Ol' Poppa. But you... He rubbed his hair vigorously, then lowered the towel with a flourish. "You can call me Charlie." He said with a grin.

"My name is Jill. How about you and I, we get some dinner?" She said with a big beautiful smile. How could Ol' Poppa possibly say no to that?

Ol' Poppa (Penguinator) was lured away from the convoy by a pretty face. He was Two Gate Toss (Mason).

And as one truck full of Penguins leaves the Convoy, another filled with Polar Bears heading South joins. (Evidently she's going to take a boat from the East Coast, or maybe catch a plane? :smallconfused: But she's definitely not driving through Mexico and South America to get there. :smallbiggrin:)

Venetian Mask now joins Convoy III. :smallsmile:

Day 3

Mirai was steamed. "I'll show them!" she thought to herself. "I'll show them all! I'm not just some hot tail in short-shorts." she growled low and she gripped the steering wheel tighter. "And Sugar Lips!! What kind of handle is that!!" This, she said out loud. Well, more like yelled to the world.

And she wasn't much appreciative of the mural one of her co-workers had nicely painted on the side either. "It's an add for yarn." He'd told her, face as serious as could be. But Mirai could see the smirk in his, the barely contained laughter.

So focused on her anger, she didn't notice the black Mack pulling over to her left until the last moment. And he was pulling over into her lane. She turned her wheel hard, trying to avoid the collision, and found herself running into another truck on the other side.

Looking back to the first driver, she watched as he smiled and waved to her, then pointed up to his radio and grabbing his own mic. "Roger, Sweet Lips. If that's your real handle." he said to her, all serious business. "We're sorry to do this to ya, you're one fiiine lookin' lady, and we've enjoyed your company...."

Suddenly Roger Rogering is cut off by another voice. "What he's trying to say, Honey, is that it ain't safe for you here. Not because of your gender, oh no. See, we don't much like Bears in this here convoy."

Mirai looked over at the trucker in the black truck. He glared back her, evil intent on his face. A shiver of cold ran up her back, and without realizing it, she slammed on her brakes, which was quickly followed by a loud crash. Mirai began to lose control of her rig, barely controlled by the two tractor-trailers on either side of her.

Whoever slammed into her from behind didn't slow down, just kept forcing her forward. The two trucks on either side of her pulled away, setting her free to careen out of control, the force behind continuing to push her. Even as her truck jack-knifed and crashed into the median, he didn't stop. Who was this madman, and was he trying to kill her!

And then her truck flipped, rolling over onto it's side, upside-down, then the other side, where it finally came to a stop.

Mirai "Sweet Lips" Signe awoke three days later in a hospital bed. She found out she had multiple broken bones, including both her hands, and her jaw had to be wired shut. She was unable to report the truth of her "accident" for three months as she healed and then recuperated.

Until then, the official report was that the trucker behind her had passed out at the wheel. He was in a coma, also with multiple broken bones. It seemed he'd almost over-dosed on medication and beer.

Some miles down the road, a familiar face rejoined the convoy. Otakuryoga has taken over Robert Blackletter's role, but not his character. :smallsmile:

Sugar Lips (MiraiSigne) had an accident and was permanently removed from the Convoy. She was a Bear.
Gothic Bob (Robert Blackletter) caused the accident and is currently in a coma. It is unknown if he'll recover. He was replaced by Otakuryoga.

Night 3

In an attempt to shake some of the bears on their trail, Big Ben made a u-turn near Santa Rosa, New Mexico and headed back to Albuquerque. Here they got onto I-25 and headed North into Colorado. More specifically, Colorado Springs, where they rested for another night, and planned to relax into the next day.

This split the Convoy up, as some of the truckers had deliveries and schedules that required them to continue on I-40 and into Texas and beyond.

But at a few other truckers were relieved to see that Big Mack truck coming up behind them, followed by almost two dozen others. Like those heading East, these had necessarily split from the group to make their own journeys to the North.

One of these was Road Kill, who had a shipment of Goose Liver and Beans to deliver to some snobby hob-knob restaurant in Denver. It was a strange combination, but he was getting paid well for it, so who cared.

Because he'd joined with Big Ben early on, he was actually ahead of schedule, so he had some time to sit back and enjoy some down time before heading the last couple hours to Denver. This he later came to regret.

A group of truckers invited Road Pork to go Bar-Hopping, and it didn't take too much convincing. They started out at the Half-Mile Saloon, went to the Two-Gun Bar and Grill, and finally ended up at Mile Long Legs, a strip joint near Cheyenne Mountain. This is where the fight broke out.

Road Pork was enjoying the company a pretty young lass who called herself Chantel. they were laughing and giggling, and having a real good time. In fact, Road Pork was likely spending more than he should have, but alcohol sometimes does that to a person.

Well, "Chantel's" boyfriend, ex-boyfriend?, didn't much appreciate the attention Road Pork was giving the girl, and he started making noise and shoving the trucker. The bouncer of the place told them to take it outside, which they kindly did.

The fight didn't last long. Though near-drunk, just this side past a good buzz-on, Road Pork had been a boxer before becoming a driver. And his instinct and abilities took over. Taking only the first hit from the boyfriend, Road Pork blocked the second fist, then threw a combination that rocked the man and dropped him like a wet sack of groceries.

Chantel delivered a swift kick to the downed man's groin, to show her displeasure. Then she and Road Kill walked away, and got into his truck. So far so good, right?

The tragedy happens at about four in the morning. The ex had spent all the night looking for the man who'd knocked him out, he wanted revenge. He found the Goose Liver and Bean truck, easily recognized by the sign "Restaurant de l'élégance" on the side of it. He waited until he was sure the inhabitants had fallen asleep, then he began pouring gas all around the truck, most of it on and near the gas tanks of the tractor itself. Lit a match, then set he rig ablaze.

Road Pork woke up to the smell of goose and beans burning, and then BOOM! there was nothing more for him to worry about.

Road Pork (Internet Flea) was blown up in a fireball of Goose Liver and Beans. He was either Momma Bear or the Hippie Micro-Bus.

Bushranger voted for me right after the seer's proxy posted (it is likely that he genuinely didn't see Szilard's post, a wolf probably wouldn't question a seer claim without evidence). When I questioned it C'nor immediately jumped in to protect Bushranger from suspicion and throw doubt on Slizard's claim (though he still voted for Mirai).

I pointed at a dead mason because I wasn't paying enough attention to the game. At the beginning I made a spreadsheet of all the players and assigned a number to them so I could quickly use this (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm) to see who to point at when I don't have any idea for a target. I apparently forgot to remove Penguinator from my spreadsheet so I ended up pointing at a dead mason.

Also: Why a wolf would point at a dead mason, the wolves pay the most attention to what is going on in a game?

While I agree with your logic C'Nor, you fail to follow one point through. It could be that Szilard is in fact the seer claiming to be a seer proxy. It is possible. I have done it before myself. Especially where it is hard to trust villagers when two alphas are in the game.

Secondly, have you considered the possibility that he took a risk? It is possible.

Hardly. As an example, BR rode the edge of autolynch the whole game in one of Classics. For that matter, I actually got autolynched multiple times in The Possessed, after taking over as a replacement for someone else!

Also, speaking of BR and Classic... Defending BR when you were the only one talking about him being suspicious, and even you weren't voting for him, would be incredibly stupid were we on a team. I did that in Classic when I wasn't on a team, with Grey Mage's point at TinyMushroom, and got both of us lynched for our trouble. I know better than to do something like that again.


While I agree with your logic C'Nor, you fail to follow one point through. It could be that Szilard is in fact the seer claiming to be a seer proxy. It is possible. I have done it before myself. Especially where it is hard to trust villagers when two alphas are in the game.

Secondly, have you considered the possibility that he took a risk? It is possible.

That's what I'm assuming happened - he scried Szilard, took the risk he'd hit an alpha, and, unfortunately, had. Since Szilard knew, even before the lynch, on the theory he's a Bear, as that's the only way he could have put in a kill last night, that his contact was likely the seer, not the fool, and thus a major threat, he put the kill on him.

I assume that's a proxy claim, BR? Fair enough... GnomeGninjas is acting rather suspicious anyway, so I'll throw a vote on him to test that. We can always lynch Szilard tomorrow, after all.

Day 4

Gnomita yawned as the convoy pulled away from Colorado Springs, continuing North on I-25 to Denver. She looked out her window smiling at the beautiful day.

Then suddenly she noticed something. It was entirely too quiet on the chatterbox. Normally at this time of morning, the other truckers were calling in to each other, boasting about last nights conquests, too often with too much information for her tastes. :smallyuk:

But today, there was nothing. She switched the channel on her radio, trying to find a bandwidth where someone was talking. But after five minutes of searching, something else occurred to her. They'd found another cop amongst them. That's why there was silence. Her eyes wide, she looked ahead for the next turn off. But then....

"Hey there, Goldie." Came Big Ben's voice over her radio. "You there girl? We think we've found ourselves a bear, and need your help routing him out." He paused, as if listening for an answer. Gnomita sucked on her lower lip, a habit she'd picked up. It was either a trap, or they'd found one of the others. If that was the case, she had to be part of it, to protect her fellow officer.

"I'm here, Big Ben. Got kinda worried when the usual chatter was gone. Who you have in mind?"

"You seen that strange half-truck been driving with us? Trucker calling hisself Roger Rogering? He's been acting strange since the second day. Poking his nose about, and all."

Oh really? Gnomita said, successfully keeping the relief out of her voice. "Roger" wasn't any cop she knew. Maybe he was a Fed. They were rumored to have moles in convoys on occasion. So watcha need me to do, hon?

"Now Goldie, you know your not half bad looking." Gnomita rolled her eyes. A back-handed compliment if she'd ever heard one. "We'll make a stop up here in Denver." Big Ben continued on. "If Rogering stops with us, what I'd like you to do is...."

About twenty minutes later, Big Ben and a few other truckers, including both Roger Rogering and Goldie, pulled into an old Union 76 station. As the other truckers either fueled up, or headed inside to buy provisions for the next leg of travel, Goldie applied some lipstick and fussed her hair a little.

She noticed as Roger got out of his truck and headed inside, and quickly got out and followed. She approached Roger as he was looking over the selection of chocolate bars. Hello, Roger. she said with a smile. I've been watching you. I think you and I, we may have more in common than just trucks.

"Oh really?" Roger questioned, looking the woman before him over. "And what might that be?"

Gnomita picked up a Hershey's 5th Avenue bar, unwrapped the top and took a bite, more kissing it than biting. Our love of chocolate?

Well, that seemed enough for Roger. The pair of them bought two dozen chocolate bars of varying types, then headed out the door. Which is when Gnomita dropped her bag of goodies to the ground, along with her jaw. This didn't last long, as Roger Rogering didn't seem to have much trouble socking it to a woman, especially a LEO.

When Gnomita woke up, she was hog-tied in the back of her truck, with a gag in her mouth. She was happy to find that she was still dressed and seemingly unmolested. By the time someone finally opened the doors, it was night out, and the convoy was long gone.

Gnomita Justice (GnomeGninjas) was knocked out and thrown into the back of her trailer. She was Smokey (Bear Alpha).

Night 4

After dumping the Smokey off their scent, the Convoy made a long day of it, heading into the near treeless (from what the narrator's heard) Kansas desert. The long stretch of highway, Eastbound I-70 was miles and miles of nothingness that easily drove many a driver into a mesmerized hypnotic state.

One such hapless driver was Ned Kelly in his modified Caspian Sea Monster ((Where exactly do you find these interesting vehicles, Bushranger? :smallconfused: First KARR, now this? Anyway....)) Even hovering along in his monster and enjoying the screams of fear and shocked looks didn't help Ned, as he began to doze off. HEY!! a voice yelled over his radio, shocking him awake. Wake up, ya nut! the voice of Sodbuster admonished him.

Finally, nearing midnight, the group pulled into Salina, Kansas. Home of the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts. Most of the truckers went to the normal bars and clubs, looking for excitement and ways to throw away more money.

But not one trucker. Oh no, he decided to visit the Stiefel Theatre, see who, if anyone was playing there that night. And as luck would have it, tickets to see the Selina Symphony play Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony were still available. Roger was ecstatic, and happily paid the $30 to get a seat. He wasn't a huge fan of Classical music, but he loved trying new and different things.

He quietly entered the theatre, the show was already going, and he didn't want to ruin anyone's evening more than he had to. He sat down next to a wonderful lady, who smiled back at him, even though he looked and smelled like he was what he was, a truck driver. She even offered him a program to help him better understand what was going on.

Halfway through the remainder of the performance though, sleep finally overcame Roger, and he laid his head back and drifted into nothingness.

When the performance was over, the kind woman who sat beside him tried to give him a gentle nudge to wake him. When that didn't work, she pushed a little harder. Mister Rogering, the show is.... then she let loose a blood-curdling scream, stopping everyone where they stood. He's been murdered!! She yelled out.

The how he died was easy enough to figure out. A long blade was found to have been shoved into his lower back, between the back of the seat and the folding cushion. At least three thrusts upward had been made, and apparently no one had noticed as Roger Rogering bleed to death right next to, and in front of the audience.

Roger Rogering (Szilard) was stabbed and blead to death while listening to Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony. He was Momma Bear (Seer).

Day 5

While most believed that Big Ben would lead the convoy East into Missouri, possibly stopping in Columbia for the next night, only his closest friends knew of the long held prejudices he had against the Border Ruffians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Border_Ruffian) of Missouri. He'd vowed long ago never to set foot, nor tire tread, in Missouri.

When asked why they were heading South, when it'd be faster to drive through Missouri, Big Ben told anyone listening of a battle that took place on August 30th, of 1856. "Somewhere between 250 and 300 led by two men named Reid and White, attacked the small city of Osawatomie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Osawatomie), intending to destroy any free staters on their way to Topeka.

"John Brown, yes that John Brown, led forty men to Osawatomie to defend them." Big Ben continued. "But there were too many Ruffians. And Brown's men were eventually forced to retreat, after heavy casualties."

Big Ben opened his mouth to continue, when a sleepy voice interjected over the band-wave. "And Benny's great great grandmother was one of the civilian victims."

This led to a near-accident, as Big Ben slammed on his brakes, and the trucker behind him had to quickly switch lanes to avoid slamming into his backside. This in turn caused two vehicles travelling beside him to drive into the median to avoid a collision they likely wouldn't have survived.

"What'd you say?" Big Ben asked with threatening calm into his radio.

Silence.

"Oh, don't think I don't know who you are. I listen to everyone's voice, as we are driving. I get to know people by their voice. I know who it is that shouldn't know the ending to my story." And the next thing everyone heard over their radios was Big Ben's truck door opening, then closing.

A wide-eyed Dan locked his doors and revved up his truck. The happy looking fruit on the side mocked the fear of the man in the cab. One of the other truckers tried to block his way, but Dan gunned the engine and plowed through, driving into the median, then shifting into a low gear to power his way up the other side.

As the truck climbed up, the contents of his trailer shifted violently, tipping sideways. For a second, it looked as if the truck might hold to the road, but after a long second, the whole thing crashed onto it's side, crushing a smart car that hadn't gotten out of the way.

Soon there were truckers, and a few brave civilians, running across the freeway to help the victims, including Dan. It was soon evident that the smart car had been crushed. So they refocused on Dan. Dan, who was currently beginning to climb out of the sideways cab. One of the truckers, Yorick, quickly climbed up, and helped Dan out. After ensuring that the LEO was indeed going to survive his accident, Yorick hauls back and hits Dan in the jaw with a right hook, knocking him out.

With a quick search, they find the evidence they need. Along with nice black handcuffs, they find his agency badge. They cuff Dan to the window frame of his truck, then shove him back inside for the cops to find.

It's a couple hour delay, but eventually the convoy is free to go, and Dan is taken to jail to answer for vehicular manslaughter, Federal Agent or not.

Dan (Daniel Raen) is taken to jail and awaits judgement. He was an Agent.

Night 5

By the time the convoy reached Oklahoma City, many of them were ready to get some sleep. But one restless trucker wasn't quite ready for sleep just yet. Someway, somehow, he knew his time had come.

Data Angel hopped into his Hovercraft and continued South to where he would finally meet his fate. At Ray Roberts Lake, just on the other side of the Texas border, there was to be an epic battle between good and evil. And each time Data Angel came to this time in his history, he was always the loser.

But not this time. Data Angel grinned gleefully. This time he had a surprise for his nemesis. This time, he had an army to back him up. This time it would be Earth's hero, The Doctor, who fell. Then he'd finally get off this god forsaken rock in his newly acquired TARDIS, and head home to Gallifrey and win the war. The Doctor had been a fool, a complete and utter.....

Data Angel pulled the hovercraft to a halt as he say a blue rectangle begin to materialize before him, complete with it's wheezing brakes. Slowly the Police Box came into full view. So this is how The Doctor always won. The battle hadn't taken place at Ray Roberts Lake. It'd taken place near Ray Roberts Lake.

Data Angel pressed a button on the console, then jumped out as quick as a rabbit. You may think you have the upper hand, he shouted at the quiet blue box. but this time, I'll surprise you!!And as he stepped back away from his vehicle, it began to transform into another shape. The cargo hold shifted, growing bigger, until it resembled a black doorway into outer space.

Then thunderous footsteps began to pound the floor from somewhere inside. Soon a silver head appeared, followed by a familiar metallic body, the Cybermen.

But still the TARDIS remained quiet and still. The Doctor mocked Data Angel by not stepping out and spouting his pitiful words, and gloating over his pre-destined victory. Or maybe it... Could it be? Was the Doctor afraid, hiding in his box that's bigger on the inside? No. No, that wasn't it. It was a trick, a trap.

For a good hour he watched the TARDIS, waiting for something to happen. Finally, Data Angel snapped. Face me, Doctooooor!! he screeched, then charged the doors, intending to force his way in somehow. He wasn't exactly sure how, but he'd find a way to force the Doctor....

And then he felt it. There was a pull, as if he was being sucked into a vortex, and the doors slowly began to open. Something inside his head told him to not let those doors open. Somehow he realized that this was the trap. That he'd been here before, time and time again. Why? he began to sob. Why won't you let this end?

And finally he saw the Doctor before him. He looked grim, hard. Anger seeped out of him, vengeance. You killed her. She should have been safe with her husband David. But you found her, and killed her. The Doctor almost snarls. And for that... I banish you for all eternity to always make this same mistake, over and over again. And then he closed the door, and a bright flash exploded, blinding Data Angel.

The next thing he saw, he was laying on something that was moving rapidly, it's wheels squeaking annoyingly as ceiling tiles moved rapidly in and out of his vision. "We need to get this man to the the OR immediately. Doctor Smith says there's a swelling near his brain that needs to be relieved, or it'll cause permanent..." The rest of what was said fell away as Data Angel once again lost consciousness.

Data Angel (C'Nor) went back in time to relive the last twenty years again. He was the Narc (Fed Alpha).

I'd rather vote for someone based on a strategy (one with several flaws, perhaps, but it's better than nothing) that worked before rather than on a gimmick vote.

Yorick changes the radio station to something more befitting a convoy trip (as it had been playing smooth jazz at the pit stop), and rejoins the convoy.

Over the Radio: If you really need some gas, this sports car I'm hauling has about a quarter tank, although it won't help you if you're running on diesel.

Day 6

The convoy moved steadily along, pushing through the lovely but dangerous Ozark Mountains. The road weaves through the mountain passes, and is (I'm quite certain of it) a nightmare for many young drivers. But this day, it's not the scariest thing on the road.

No, that honor is reserved for a group of protesters who decided, oddly enough, that Arkansas was the place they wanted to make a stand against endangering Polar Bears.

The topless protesters, most of them women, crowded onto the road, holding up their signs of indignation. "Free the bears" "Polar Bears belong in the Arctic, not Subarcticica" "Put the Cap'n in the stocks" It was a media circus, and no one on the road had any way of getting around the obnoxious sign bearers.

But the best was yet to come. Someone noticed the convoy trapped about a half-mile back, and the whole group of bare-chested ladies charged up the steep incline to find their true target. Cap'n Venetian and her truck filled with at least three captive Polar Bears (or so it was reported).

They surrounded the truck, demanding the evil trucker get out so they could throw her in jail for animal cruelty. But Cap'n Venetian had other plans. She locked the doors of her truck, then crawled into her cab. The women who noticed this, screamed like banshees, thinking their nemesis for the day was going to just hide until someone saved her. Well she wouldn't....

Suddenly there was an explosion from the top of the trailer, followed by a loud creaking as the sides began to fall away. The protesters screamed and ran for safety, a few didn't make it. Though none died. When the dust settled, it started right back up again as the sound of an engine starting and helicopter blades whirring kicked up even more dirt and gravel into the air.

The helicopter, flown by.... two white bears? :smallconfused:, took off, leaving the truck, the protesters, and the convoy behind. On the side of the machine was the shield of the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Cap'n Venetian waved goodbye as she headed back to Washington.

Cap'n (Venetian Mask) left the seen of an ugly, yet sometimes beautiful, protest. She was the Fed in the Air (Fed Devil).

Night 6

The three members of White Track continue on past Little Rock, AK and head North a little further on. This was where their final delivery was to be. Little did they know it'd also be their final destination, in life.

Elli pulled in ahead of the other two. It was late at night, so they were sure no one would be up to receive the delivery, but Chart had insisted they at least try.

As Elli went to check on the warehouse, Chart and Theta drove there truckcycles to the Red Roof Inn they noticed nearby. As the pair slowed to a stop at a red light, they noticed the area growing brighter, then heard the familiar sound of a big rig pulling up behind.

Thinking it was just another trucker intending on making a delivery here, they were caught completely by surprise when they trucker behind gunned the accelerator instead of touching the brake.

Theta was quicker to react, and pulled his bike to the right, then stopped. Chart hit the gas, but his foot slipped as he released the clutch, stalling. SMASH!! Theta watched in horror as his brother was flung from his bike, and into a telephone pole across the street.

Anger infused Theta with rage. He climbed off his cycle, threw off his helmet, and charged the murderous trucker. What the bleep, man!? Didn't you bleep see us? He jumped up on the steps leading to the passenger side cab and flung open the door. For a brief second, he realized his mistake. BOOOM! After that brief second, there was a large hole in Theta's chest.

On the other side of town, Elli was blissfully unaware that her brothers were being murdered. Instead, she was happily unloading the straw from her vehicle. She'd called Chart and Theta, but neither had answered. But she'd call back later, they were obviously busy getting their room.

She became worried when they continued to not answer. As she headed toward the agreed upon hotel, she drove past a dark red truck heading back South toward Little Rock. Thinking it strange, but not worried about that at the moment, she drove on until she came to the scene of the gruesome double murder.

Nailed to both brother's heads were wooden signs that read: Oops! Wrong again.

Chart and Theta (UsOurselves&We) were crushed and blown away by Rusty Nail. Elli (also UsOurselves&We) survived the murders, but has to deal with the emotional aftermath, and burial of her brothers. They were Big Ben (Mason Alpha).

Back in Little Rock, Big Ben is found the next morning still in bed. He'd had a stroke in the middle of the night and died in his sleep.

As an aside, what wolves haven't we gotten yet? There's the Bear in the Air, (possible other bears? Only two people have joined, right?), probably a Fed or two left, and there's Rusty Nail (...not exactly a wolf, but has a night kill and isn't town).

He had some solid reasoning that day; certainly better than some of the other people. I changed my mind when a more convincing argument was made against it, and didn't get to post again before the site went down...

There were a few times where I thought he was wrong, and voted for someone else. I think agreeing with someone (fairly) early in the game when they make a solid point is a good way to lynch the right people.

Also, I have horrible luck with my voting... I think there's only one time where my fully thought-out suspicions were right, and that was based off of Szilard's scry on Miraisinge. I'm voting for Hyozo because he hasn't posted in a while; kinda wolfy behavior, if you ask me. The less I think about it, the more likely I'm right.

Day 7

With the death of Big Ben, it looked as if the convoy was going to break up. For nearly a whole week, truckers came and went as the remaining three leaders; Sodbuster, Astro Pete, and Toothy discussed what to do, where to head to next.

We should continue on to Maine, and spread Rubber Duck's ashes. said Toothy.

No! Sodbuster slammed his fist down. We need to take Big Ben back to Kansas, first. It's not that far away.

But is that...

I don't care what Big Ben would have wanted. Look, I respected Rubber Duck, but Big Ben was, well, like an older brother to me. He's the one who protected us, even after Rubber Duck passed on. We should do our do-diligence to him first.

I'll have to agree with Sodbuster on this, Toothy. Astro Pete finally threw in his two cents. Besides, the Duck's ashes. Big Ben wanted to be buried. The ashes can wait a little longer to be emptied.

The sound of a roaring engine could be heard coming closer and closer, then: CRASH!! A little sports car came flying through the diner's window, sending glass everywhere.

After recovering from the surprise aerial assault, the three convoy leaders looked out the now shattered window. The tow truck that'd been hauling the sports car ever since California, now looked strange without it's cargo, and currently without it's driver as well.

The driver, Yorick, was busy yelling at the trucker who'd accidentally rear-ended him, sending the car flying. Hyozo was out of his own pepper shaker shaped truck, yelling right back. And as the yelling got louder, a crowd soon began to gather, encircling the duo. Sodbuster, Astro Pete, and Toothy ran out of the diner. Not to break it up, but to watch right along with everyone else.

By the time they squeezed past everyone else, the fighting had already begun. Yorick had a bloody lip, and Hyozo's nose was bleeding, likely broken. The two men had stopped talking, and were circling each other, waiting for an opportunity.

Suddenly Hyozo took a sharp step to the left. Yorick followed the movement, sending a mighty right to connect to the other's face, but nothing was there. Hyozo, having successfully feinted, hoped back to his own right, lowered his left shoulder and threw his fist up into a shocking upperhook that lifted Yorick off his feet.

Yorick fell hard onto his back, and was too stunned to stop Hyozo from pouncing atop of him. He was barely able to get his fists up defensively and protect his head from the flurry of blows rained down upon him, mostly.

Finally the truckers had had enough, and they yanked the young man off Yorick before he killed him. He's a cop! Hyozo yelled out in explanation, pointing at his victim. I heard him talking to someone on his radio, telling them Big Ben was dead. That he'd try to break the convoy up.

Then there was a click, as someone pulled back the hammer of his pistol. The truckers had a moment that seemed to last forever, as they looked down at Yorick, who'd drawn his weapon. BANG! Everything slowed down. Those who survived into old age swear that they could see the bullet spinning as it inched it's way forward and struck down Hyozo.

Then the second was over, and the bear realized his mistake. But it was too late as the truckers pounced on him, beating him until... Well, no one's quite certain. And those who do know, they aren't telling. But Officer Yorick disappeared that day in Little Rock, Arkansas. And he was never seen again.

Yorick (Amidus Drexel) was disappeared. He was the Bear in the Air (Bear Devil)

Hyozo (Hyozo) was shot in the head. He was REPLACED by Mad Hatter.

Night 7

It'd been decided, the Convoy was heading back West to personally see to the delivery of Big Ben's body to his native land of Kansas. To save time, they took the Toll road at exit 286 up through Tulsa, Oklahoma to exit 3 onto US-77 heading North to the small town of Ceres.

The trio of friends was amazed just how many followed with them backwards. Of course, they were sure at least a few more Bears or Agents, and at least one had to be the murderer, Rusty Nail.

So a trap was set, to capture the trucker who'd killed Rubber Duck so long ago. He'd gotten away thus far, but they were determined the murder of the brothers would be the last time Rusty Nail killed anyone.

That night, while most of the other truckers slept, Sodbuster, Astro Pete, Toothy, and the unnamed Mechanic watched those they felt were either the most likely targets, or could very well be the notorious Rusty Nail himself.

They were all caught off guard as two black Avalanches pulled into the lot and pulled up to the mechanized horse and carriage. With loud thuds, they turned on their spotlights onto the doors of the carriage, then two men came out of the darkness and threw a couple flash-bangs inside.

As dark smoke billowed out of the strangely futuristic vehicle, so too it's driver, Lord Duke. With an energy they'd never seen on his face before, he charged at one of the Federal Agents. The agents raised his gun and BAM! she his target in the chest.

Lord Duke went flying back, knocking his head against one of his robotic horses, then fell to the ground in a heap. All the noise and lights were drawing a crowd, including those trying to protect their people. What's going on? Sodbuster asked.

The agent smiled at the dirty trucker, then to the rest of the crowd, obviously proud of what had been accomplished. One of you boys called our tip line. This here's Rusty Nail.

Lord Duke (Count Dingdong) has been arrested. He was shot with a bean-bag gun, not killed. He was Rusty Nail.

Well I am willing to give otakuryoga the benefit of the doubt.

He is claiming to be a prankster. This is the moment for the real prankster (if he is lieing) to oust him since they no longer have to fear Rusty Nail.

Otherwise, I hate to say this but I say we look at those who joined the convey later on.

I cannot place TheMadHatter at all as he hasn't even voted. It might be worth it just to lynch him because he is such a wild card.

My most two suspicous people I see right now are Atreyu and ThePhantom.

Atreyu has yet to point at any wolf and is constantly randomly pointing. Beyond that, he seems inconsistent.

ThePhantom is the same as Atreyu.

I'm willing to bet one of them is a fed.

For now I think I will go with The Mad Hatter to save Otakuryoga

As they convoy was heading North, what used to be a white truck, now splattered with multiple colors of paintball shots, drives up to the convoy. He shifts into high gear, and quickly drives past, heading to parts unknown.

Elsewhere, Philly Cheese Steak hadn't stayed with the convoy since the last time they were in Kansas. Unlike Big Ben, he had no particular dislike of Missouri, and he had to get these annoying brats impressionable children back home... and soon. :smalleek:

He'd already driven through Missouri, and partway through Illinois when he heard over the radio that Big Ben had died. And though he felt bad about the passing, he wasn't about to turn back now. He had two more states to drive through. Why, oh why, hadn't they paid the extra for plane tickets?

Night 8

The convoy stopped at a Red Roof Inn just outside of Topeka, where Big Ben was born and raised.

In the middle of the night, a loud noise like a thunderclap woke everyone up, followed by the sound of a fist fight between multiple men.

When everyone escaped their rooms and found where the fight was happening, all they saw was the retreating shadows of three men, and Sodbuster standing alone in a broken doorway. He had a busted lip, and a bruise was forming on the right side of his face. But his adrenaline was still pumping, so he felt no pain, for a while.

An arrest was attempted. Sodbuster foiled it.

Day 9

It was a long couple days, as truckers from all over came to pay their respects to Big Ben, but finally the Convoy was on the road again. This time heading through Missouri to make up time.

As they neared the gateway to the West (or the East actually, since that's the way they're heading.), the bumper car, wannabe truck driver, was zooming in and out of traffic, waving his flag for Sodbuster.

Sodbuster did his best to ignore this fanfare, as it made him blush such a pretty shade of rosey red. But then the flag-waving bumper car slipped suddenly in front of him, and Sodbuster slammed on the brakes, forcing everyone to slam on their brakes suddenly as well.

It took a while, as many air brakes screamed in terror, but amazingly there wasn't any sound of trucks colliding until... CRASHPROING!! the awful sound of truck crushing trailer, and then expensive pianos being destroyed.

Sodbuster just let his head hit the dashboard. "Please let no one be hurt." he begged whatever entity he was begging. Then he solemnly got out of the cab and went to check on the damage.

When he arrived five trucks back, he was surprised by what he found. A very perturbed Phantom Ed was handcuffing Two-Bit Charlie. Upon seeing Sodbuster approaching, Phantom Ed pulls out his hand gun and points it at him. "Tell them to stand back, Sodbuster. Charlie here needs to pay for what he's done."

"And just what did he do, Ed?"

Phantom Ed looked just about to break into tears. "He... He killed my baby!" The driver turncoat cried, emotionally distraught. Astro Pete, standing near the back of the black-lacquered truck lifted up pieces of what likely was a beautiful piano.

Sodbuster shook his head sadly. "Let him go fellas. Ed's just a little high-strung at the moment." And with that, the convoy moved along, leaving Phantom Ed to arrest poor Two-Bit Charlie.

Phantom Ed (ThePhantom) arrested Two-Bit Charlie for murdering his baby grand. He was an Agent.

The night is still. Too still. Sodbuster can't sleep. And a good thing too. He notices someone shifty looking trying to break into one of the trucks.

He tries to sneak up on the culprit, but steps into a pothole and starts swearing up a storm, alerting the perpetrator. Aware that someone was approaching, the perp runs, keeping his identity safe.

Another arrest was attempted. Another attempt failed. Sodbuster has a save streak going.

My thoughts:
I think there is 1 wolf, a baner, 2 masons and two townies (I am including pranksters and mechanic as townies). That is assuming that all four mason names were divied, and each wolf side had four members.

So, if everyone chose randomly, the wolf would have 100% chance of getting a town aligned (60% chance of a power role), townies and baner have a 20% chance of being correct, and the masons have a 25% chance of guessing correctly.

Here is what I propose: If baner role reveals, then the masons could contact him, and let him know their identities (both doing so separately and mentioning the other, so the baner knows that it is an actual mason). Since the baner would know the roles of 3/6 people his random choice of the people he doesn't know would have 33% chance of catching the wolf. If someone disputes the baner claim, then one of the two is the bear, making it a 50% shot to win.

This plan hinges on three things: There being exactly one wolf left, there being at least two living masons who cooperate, and baner being able to self-bane, so that he can survive if the wrong choice is made (which is likely considering it is only a 1 in 3 chance).

If I am correct in this, lynching the target the baner chooses means townies will win.

Massive Edit: Just realized 3 out of 4 masons bit the dust. Damn, my plan is ruined.

New plan, sort of like above, but slightly different. This assumes there is only one mason left, and one wolf. Baner reveals himself and the mason contacts the baner. If more than one person claims to be the remaining mason (Astro Pete I think), then the baner knows that one of them is lying and is the last wolf. If there is no conflict, then they are connected and the baner has better odds of choosing the right person. People still need to vote with the baner for this to work, but I think we are still in a good position.

I do not think we started off with 4 masons. only 3. I could be wrong though.
