Dark Sovereign

In barbarian culture the greatest warriors fight with honor and respect. There are some who believe that victory is to be achieved at all costs. This warriors are known as Dark Sovereign. The dark sovereign is a warrior that blends the power of a raging barbarian with the tactics of a dark fiend. Dark sovereigns can be found across the world anywhere the dark art of endless rage exists.
Dark sovereigns dominate the battlefield devastating their enemies with bone shattering strikes, using dirty tricks to catch enemies off guard, and split his enemies open causing bleeding wounds. At the height of his power the dark sovereign unleashes the full might of his rage on his enemies, most do not live to tell the tale.
Most dark sovereigns are warlords that follow the darker path of the Black Heron discipline with the fury of the Devil Tiger discipline. It is not uncommon to see fighters and barbarians take up the mantle of the dark sovereign, but it is not uncommon to have an errant knight become dark sovereign. Any warrior that has learned to harasses the power of their inner rage can become a dark sovereign.

Role: Dark sovereigns are close ranged melee strikers. They strive while being on the front line using their rage to power devastating attacks. Dark sovereigns travel of world seeking new enemies to gain victory over. Many adventuring parties find dark sovereigns to be very violent due to their powerful strikes and causing wounds that can’t seem to be healed. For this reason their services are usually sot after by evil doers to do their dirty work.

Alignment: Dark sovereigns must be of a chaotic alignment due to the chaotic nature of the use of their inner rage. Dark sovereigns can be good or evil, but most tend to be evil because of their connection to their dark side.

Hit Die: d12

Requirements
To qualify to become Dark Sovereign, a character must fulfill all of the following criteria.
Base Attack Bonus: +5
Feats: Black Heron Fury, Extra Rage, Power Attack
Maneuvers: 2 Devil Tiger and Black Heron maneuvers, 1 Devil Tiger or Black Heron stance
Special: Rage Class Feature

Class Skills
The dark sovereigns class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are: Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (Dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (Martial) (Int), Knowledge (Planes) (Int), Perception (Wis), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), and Swim (Str).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the dark sovereign.
Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Dark sovereigns gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Maneuvers: Starting at 1st level and every level except for 2nd, 6th, and 10th level, the dark sovereign gains new maneuvers known from the Black Heron, Devil Tiger, Eternal Fist, and Jade Throne disciplines. You must meet a maneuver's prerequisite to learn it. You add your full dark sovereign levels to your initiator level to determine your total initiator level and your highest-level maneuvers known.
At 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, and 10th level, you gain additional maneuvers readied per day.

Stances Known: At 1st level and again at 6th level, you learn a new martial stance from the Black Heron, Devil Tiger, Eternal Fist, and Jade Throne disciplines. You must meet the stances prerequisites to learn it.

Rage Power (Ex): As the dark sovereign gains levels, he learns to use her rage in new ways. Starting at 1st level, the dark sovereign gains a rage power. He gains another rage power at 4th and 7th level. The dark sovereign gains the benefits of rage powers only while raging, and some of these powers require the dark sovereign to take an action first. Unless otherwise noted, a dark sovereign cannot select an individual power more than once.

Bone Breaker (Ex): At 1st level the dark sovereign's strikes are so devastating that it rattles the bones of his enemies. On a successful critical attack the target is fatigued for 1d4 rounds. If a creature is immune to critical, they are immune to the fatigued effect.

Calming Recovery (Ex): Starting at 2nd level the dark sovereign has learned to calm his mind to prepare for combat. As a free action the dark sovereign can expend rounds of rage to recover expended maneuvers. The sovereign must use one round of his rage per day for each level of the maneuver he wishes to recover. For example to recover a 3rd level the sovereign must expend three round of his rage per day.

Improved Dirty Trick: At 3rd level the sovereign gain the Improved Dirty Trick feat, even if he doesn't qualify for this feat. If he already has this feat,he may choose another combat feat in its place.

Ability Boost (Ex): As the dark sovereign gains levels in this prestige class, his ability scores increase as noted on [/b]Table: Dark Sovereign[/b]. These increases stack and are gained as if through level advancement.

Tireless Rage (Ex): Starting at 5th level, a dark sovereign no longer becomes fatigued at the end of her rage.

Aura of Fear (Su): When a dark sovereign reaches 5th level is prowess in combat reaches the a frighting level. As a move action a dark sovereign can activate a 30ft radius aura of fear, this aura force all creatures but the dark sovereign to make a will save DC = 10+ dark sovereign level+ charisma modifier or become frightened.

Greater Dirty Trick: At 6th level the sovereign gains the Greater Dirty Trick feat even if he doesn't qualify for this feat. If he already has this feat,he may choose another combat feat in its place.

Open Wounds (Ex): As the dark sovereign's power increases through the level, his blows are powerful enough to split the skin of his enemies. Starting at 8th level whenever the sovereign successfully initiates a Devil Tiger or Black Heron strike, the target of this strike will bleed for 1d4 round. The bleed damage is equal to the sovereign's Constitution modifier. The bleed effect can be stopped with a Heal check DC= 10+ ½ character level+ the sovereign's Strength modifier.

Life Taker: At 9th level a dark sovereign has learned to finish a wounded foe with a single strike. As a free action a dark sovereign can make a DC 15 Heal check to determine what percent of remaining health a creature has left. If a creature has less then 25% of its total health, he can make a single attack as a full round action on the creature. If the attack is successful the creature must make a Fortitude save DC= 10+ ½ character level+ strengthen modifier or die. If the attack fail he may not use this ability on the same creature for 24 hours.

Stance of the Dark Sovereign: Stance- When the dark sovereign reaches 10th level, he is at the apex of of his power. While in this stance the sovereign gains a insight bonus to attack and damage roll equal to ½ his initiator level (rounded down). In addition as a free action the sovereign can expend a round of rage from his daily rounds of rage. For each round rage he expends he gains +1d6 to damage til your next turn. The sovereign can only expend a number of rounds of rage for damage equal to his Constitution modifier.

Links to both Black Heron and Devil Tiger would be nice for a start.

And I'd re-label this as "3.P" since it's not pure Pathfinder material, what with the Martial Disciplines and all.

Updated with the link to the Black Heron discipline by Errantx, but the Devil tiger discipline isn't posted. This Pcr class is for the Librem of Battle, OGL Pathfinder maneuver system.

Maybe a link to that too? Because I've never heard of it before now.
