I've got 112k gold. I can use pretty much whatever from Pathfinder or 3.5.

I've got to sell back the stock siege engines, so I'll actually have a little more than this.

Well, if you're selling the engines, I'd imagine the first thing you want to do is buy some new ones.

Other than that, there are rules in the Arms and Equipment guide for armoring vehicles. Mithril Armor would look good and be quite durable.

How big of an airship are we talking about? Also, where are the base rules you're using?
