These abilities are inspired by the Banner Saga (http://stoicstudio.com/forum/the-banner-saga-factions.php) game. When nameless viking warriors can perform feats that put high-level D&D warriors to shame, there's fixin' what needs to be done. Of course, a number of the abilities available in Banner Saga (such as Whirlwind and Malice) can already be replicated in 3.5, so they are not included here.

Viking School of Warfare[Tactical, Fighter]
Hacking at your enemy until they've died works for some people, but a greater knowledge of combat reveals ways of inflicting much more grievous wounds.
Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, Strength 15+
Benefit: This feat enables the use of two tactical maneuvers.

Armour Break: As a standard action, you can choose to strike your enemy's armour or shield. Make an attack against the object as though using the Sunder special attack, as though you had the Improved Sunder feat. If successful, the attack deals no damage to the item, but imposes a penalty to the AC of the item's wearer equal to your Strength modifier. The penalty stacks with itself, but cannot impose a penalty greater than the AC granted by the item attacked (though the penalties from multiple items stack with each other).

Wound: As a standard action, you can choose to inflict a gruesome wound. Make an attack roll against a creature; if successful, that creature takes a stacking penalty to their Strength or Dexterity score (your choice) equal to your Strength modifier.
Penalties from this feat disappear at the end of an encounter. Penalties cannot reduce an ability score below 1.

Puncture [Fighter]
By taking steady aim, you can strike where the enemy is most vulnerable.
Prerequisites: Dexterity 15+, Precise Shot, Base Attack Bonus +8
Benefit: Whenever you successfully hit a creature with a ranged attack, if you have not yet moved or been moved in this round, you deal additional damage equal to the difference between your attack roll's result and the Armor Class of your target.

Shield Wall [Fighter]
By learning to fight alongside fellow warriors, you have gained insight into an advanced shield technique.
Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +1, proficiency with light or heavy shields
Benefit: While you are holding a shield, and an ally is within your melee reach, both of you gain a bonus to AC equal to the total AC bonus granted by your shield, and the ally also gains the benefits of the shield's enchantments.

Student of the Bow [Tactical, Fighter]
Any fool can shoot arrows where her enemies stand. The sagas speak of warriors whose use of the bow far surpassed such a simple application.
Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +8, Dexterity 15+, Precise Shot
Benefit: This feat enables the use of three tactical maneuvers.

Rain of Arrows: As a swift action, you may fire one arrow into the air, and select a square. Roll to-hit as normal. If at any time before the start of your next turn, a creature enters that square, it is immediately targeted by the attack you rolled as the arrow falls back down from the sky. If the arrow hits the creature's touch AC it deals no damage, but the creature must make a Reflex save (DC equal to 10 + 1/2 your BAB + your Dexterity modifier) or be forced to stop its movement in that square.
If you use this ability as a standard action, you may fire as many arrows as you are entitled to from a high base attack bonus.

Slag & Burn: As part of an attack with a ranged weapon, you may draw and attach an alchemical item to a projectile. When that projectile is fired, the alchemical item is fired with it, targeting the same thing as the projectile.

Bird of Prey: As a standard action, you may make a single ranged attack that ignores range penalties. If it hits, it deals double damage.

These are great, especially the ones for archery. Archery has almost no support, I think because the creators thought it should be weaker than melee to make up for the range it had.

A question though, does shield wall also provide enhancement bonuses, or just magical enchantments?

And I think we need an improved version of rain of arrows that allows you to fire over a larger area. You might even declare any spaces the arrows hit to be difficult terrain. There isn't enough ways to keep melee away from you as an archer.

"Total AC bonus granted by your shield" would include enhancement bonuses yes.
