Bonus Inspiration Points

How bad would it be to give a Factotum bonus Inspiration Points for having a high Intelligence?

I was thinking that +1 per point of INT mod. Is that too much, or would it be reasonably balanced?

It's probably OK, as long as you limit Cunning Surge to once/round. You might also consider banning the Font of Inspiration feat.

It's probably going to end up giving way too many bonus IP at low levels, and not *that* many at higher levels.

Still, the (non FoI-loaded) Factotum doesn't really have enough IP. I recommend coming up with an entirely new progression.

I'm fine with it if you then ban Font of Inspiration. Base Factotum gets far too few points. I might limit the bonus points you can gain by factotum level so a 1st level factotum isn't getting like 5 bonus points, though.

And yeah, Cunning Surge once/round only. That should just be a rule regardless.
