I Challenge Ye!

I hearby set forth this challenge, to make The Witch King of Angmar

Rules- only 1 No ToB!

now, begin!

Human with Death Knight Template, maybe Evolved Undead to flavor, and then levels in...Duskblade? Then move into Dragon Lord (Dragon Magic), refluffed to nix the dragon flavor. Then maybe one of the Draconomicon prestige classes. Personally, I think I'd remix Dragonslayer to be Manslayer, and call it a day. That would put him...level 25-30? Might be a bit high, but he's crazy strong (much stronger than his cameo in LotR would suggest). Use Arcane Strike to emulate his damage output, give him some nice items.

The power curve in LotR is weird, though; lots of mooks and then some people with heroic abilities.

GURPs has a very nice sourcebook for Middle Earth stuff. Might be a good place to look for ideas on how to adapt his powers to a gaming system.

Anyway, it was classic, and came off about 100% better in the book, imho.
