Campaign with not set background (we dont know if it is about undead, or
hunting, or urban, or anything)

We know: PCs start at lvl1, prolly go until lvl4 (max lvl5)
Races: PhB1
Classes: Phb1 , Phb2 & completes
Spells & Feats: any 3 & 3,5 source, no mags,no homebrew
(if you want to know smthing more just ask and i ll edit)

So... there is a dude.. wiz or sorc... i imagine him as the 1 that can do almost
anything with his magic.. he is not a dmg dealer though (he could have MM though)
i m looking for obscure funny & useful spells..
lets see what is given:
prestidigitation, grease, Recent occupant*, magic missile, forget (if DM allows it,from assa handbook)

need a spell arsenal that will just make the group move forward faster..
he ll be the guy "i have a solution for each of your problems"

pretty plz add book and page (or the exact name of the spell)

*Book of eldrich might3
Recent Occupant
Divination
Level: Asn 1, Brd 0, Drd 1, Rgr 1, Sor/Wiz 0
Components: V, S
Casting Time: Standard action
Range: 20 feet
Area: 20-foot radius centered around you
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes
You learn the name and race of the last creature with
Intelligence 3 or higher who occupied the area for at least
1 round. You also learn how long ago this creature occupied
it. This spell proves very useful for tracking (or avoiding) foes.

PS: This pc dont want/need Social or combat spotlight, he is just there
to.. hmm.. show off with funny magic :smallcool:

Treantmonk's guide to wizards (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=394.0) is just about the premiere handbook for spell selection out there. About 90% of the spell recommendations I give out come from that thing, so it's probably easier to just hit the thing up at the source.

pretty pretty nice guide.. although it only covers the most common books
(phb1&2, SC & completes)

im looking for spells more obscure (for example the recent occupant i listed at
OP cant be found by google :P ) and hidden in a page of a book that is forgotten
at the bottom of the drawers..
