If /tg/ can do it, why can't we?! I'll start:

-You know that Beatles song "Octopus' Garden"? Well, that was actually a prophecy, a vision influenced by all that dope the boys smoked. Prophecy of what you ask? Well, have you ever read H.P. Lovecraft?

-You know that comic "Wanted", where the supervillains actually killed the superheroes, took over the world, and then altered history to make it so that the superheroes never existed and they ruled everything? Well, hearsay tells that it's based on a true story. 's why they had to change it for the movie. But it's not with supervillains, but with all the villains from the films of the 80's. Explains a lot about the state of the world today, don't it?

-The whole "satanic backmasking" thing in the music industry turned out to be a bust, but it turns out they were just looking in the wrong place. The real place they should've been looking is the movies. Ever notice how you feel slightly angrier after walking out of a chick flick? Well, it ain't just low quality, I'll tell ya that.

Somewhere in the heart of Miami, there's a bunch of people who do street racing. Okay, that's not so weird, but here's the catch: allegedly part of the course always goes straight through Hell itself.

Unfortunately the tithe rises every year, and they predicted that it would become impossible to sustain by 2012. We only just made it - and we're only going to need more from here on out.

- It's so difficult to find Unknown Armies games because the world is out to get me personally.

-In a small midwestern town, there is a children's show on a public broadcast channel called Candle Cove. The network never advertises the show and if asked about it they will report that they never funded or broadcasted such a show, but it comes on every morning at 7 am. Every month, a child who watches this show gets mysteriously weak and sickly before dying of inexplicable exhaustion.

-In any city, in any country, you can go to any mental institution and ask for someone who calls themselves "The Holder of the End". You will be taken to a remote cell where a person babbling to him/herself. If they ever stop babbling, you must say "I'm just passing through, I wish to talk." If the person stays silent, run and don't look back. If they continue to babble, you can enter the cell and see the person, rambling in an unknown language and carefully cradling an object. The only question they will respond to is "What happens when they all come together?". If you ask this, you will be told the answer in horrifying detail.

-There is a man in a small coastal town in Maine who owns the largest collection of bottlecaps in the world. When asked why he collects them, he responds that he hopes it will be enough to buy his way home.

-Shakespeare actually had finished a follow up play for Love's Labours Lost called Love's Labours Found. However, all copies of it were found and destroyed because it revealed too much.

-In a small-ish city in Texas, mentioning that you are a member of the local gardening club will give you preferential treatment at many stores. Some say the police will give preferential treatment and even drop charges to members of this club.

I find that, in general, good creepypasta can be a great hook for Unknown Armies.

-Ponce De Leon was only half wrong. There was a mystical fountain in Florida, but it was the Fountain of Childishness, not the Fountain of Youth. There's a good reason why one of Florida's major exports is "News stories of people behaving like jackasses": Somebody broke the fountain and contaminated the water supply. Dunno who though. Maybe the Comte?

Actually sounds more like The Holders series, which is exactly 50% nightmare fuel fuel, 10% oh-god-why fuel, and 40% strategy guide as they tell you exactly how to get each Object. (http://www.theholders.org/)
