So I am contemplating playing a half elf ranger in a pirate campaign setting.

So I am thinking about swapping out a couple of the racial traits.

I am thinking about swapping low-light vision for Drow-Blooded, which in turn would give me darkvision, but I would be suspect to light blindness resulting in a -1 penalty. Not all too sure if this is worth it or not

The other is swapping out adaptability for either Dual Minded: +2 to will saves or Integrated, which grants +1 to bluff, disguise, & diplomacy (local)

Please give feedback if you think they are worthwhile or not. Ty

The Drow-Blooded trait would be more for Roleplaying. I think a half-drow character could be interesting if done right. The light-blindedness, however, could be a real detriment at times.

As for the other trait, I wouldn't take Integrated over Adapatability, +3 to one skill is better than +1 to three skills. If you're not focusing on a particular skill, the Dual-Minded trait would probably be better, as it would help reinforce a bad save.
