Are there any spells or items to get an unlimited ability to affect plant type monsters with critical hits? Constructs and Undead are easy thanks to Demolition and Truedeath crystals, but Plants got no such love (hate?), perhaps due to their relative rarity.
Deathstrike bracers would work, but they are limited to only three times per day. A Wand of Vinestrike is more promising, but it is explicitly limited to sneak attacks for some reason. Is there anything you can do besides crafting a custom magic item?
P.S. The main reason I'm asking is to try to figure out how to Coup de Grace an infinite CON Shambling Mound. Even with infinite fort saves, it should still die on a natural 1, but I don't see any easy way to get the 20 attempts required on average.
