Assuming a stealth wizard using a ring of invisibility to attack single and groups of targets, whilst remaining undetected. Wizard character level will be 10.

Categories of spells to consider are:

Damage - Area
Damage - Single target

Flaming Sphere could work. You only point in a direction for the ball to move, so it's not an attack on your part. Same for any kind of summoned creatures.

Ventriloquism could be handy in case they try to pinpoint you from the sound of your spellcasting.

Darkness (cast far away from you) as a red herring.

Misdirection (aptly named!) to throw off Detect Magic.

Deafness: You're undetectable and interferes with their casting.

Levitate/Fly: They probably won't suspect you to be up near the ceiling, if there even is a ceiling.

Nondetection: obvious

Detect Scrying: obvious

Resilient Sphere: Shut down a heavy hitter to deal with him later.

Illusory Wall: You're not even in the room as far as they're concerned! Best used on the ceiling, cause honestly, who checks to see if the ceiling is really there?

Polymorph yourself into something very small to be even harder to find or hit when shooting blindly.

Cloudkill, as long as you don't cast it directly on anyone.

False Vision: more anti-scrying

Telekinesis: Lift something heavy (also possibly invisible) over their heads and let gravity take it from there.

Any number of conventional defense spells could be used too, but if they can't see or hear you and you don't give away your position by other means, there's not much they can hit you with.
