Ok, I understand what I'm about to ask has been a contentious topic, so I'm more looking for generalities on what people think. (If there's an official ruling that I'm missing, I'd greatly appreciate it being pointed out to me.)

Chameleon, one of the biggest Jack of all trades in the game. Now, while it is abundantly clear that their casting doesn't allow them to qualify for a prestige class, what about + ______ spellcaster level features of other classes? How about Practiced Spellcaster (I'm cemented in my choice on this, but I'd like to see what others think)?

You can't use anything from aptitude to qualify for feats either, that's explicit. I would allow you to use feats and PrCs to affect your Chameleon abilities if you qualified for them another way, though, so a Sorceror 1/X 4/Chameleon 1 could take levels in a PrC that increased casting and add that casting to Chameleon. But this is a somewhat contentious opinion.
