Ok, so I know there are problems with this concept, but for a moment lets explore the idea.
If we capped max skill ranks at by ECL rather than HD and allowed a character to play as ether HD+LA OR CR as their character ECL, what what would happen to playing monsters as characters? Where would this break and how would you abuse this.
Also what would it make viable that is not already viable?
