My mind wanders to strange places and some times it brings back suvenears.

That is not dead
which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons
We must send out our ultimate recourse.

It's been (http://blog.mysanantonio.com/geekspeak/files/2012/05/godzilla_vs__cthulhu_by_paulhanley-d50x6z31-386x600.jpg)done.

Big problem is how little quantified Cthulhu's powers are. The ship hitting C is the only quantifiable info we have, and we have no idea how effective it was. Have you every been really, really tired and exhausted, heard something that woke you up, groggily start raising your head then have it hit something really hard?
From experience, you just collapse a little bit and rest a minute or so before getting back up.
And that's what happened in the story. The ship splits C's head, then as it steams on, Johansen sees C regenerating.
The story itself indicated that this was at most a minor hiccup for Cthulhu.

Since C cannot die, as far as we know, I'm betting on Dread Cthulhu.
If nothing else, he has Godzilla beat when it comes to style.

Batman routinely beats the Joker. The Joker routinely beats Batman.

Spider-Man routinely beats the Green Goblin. The green Goblin routinely beats Spider-Man.

Slytherin routinely beats Griffindor. Griffindor routinely beats Slytherin.

The Yankees routinely beat the Red Sox. The Red Sox routinely beat the Yankees.

The same side doesn't always win.

You might want to read up on the forum rules for versus threads, or this one will likely be locked in the next few hours.

And the rules are here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70661), in case you can't find them.
I would recommend trying to get this moved to media discussion, regardless.
