So there I was at the Weird Al concert here in Calgary last friday, and Kirby Krackle was the pre-show entertainment. Nerdy little band, but I immediately fell in love with them on their first song.
Entitled Up Up Down Down.
Yes, it's the Konami Code. An addorable song about a shy person wanting to get closer to a gamer girl who looks like she has lots of the same interests and won't find him weird or different.
They also played 'Grandma's House,' 'I Need a Miracle,' 'One More Episode,' and 'I Want to Live in a World Full of Heroes,' before Weird Al got on stage.
What a great little band.
