so i saw this thing in another thread, that i can't find any more and i really want to do this. But the idea is that you can only take one level in any class. I'm allowed to take one level of a blood line as well. level adjustment buy off is okay, but only 1 level adjustment though. so the idea is i want to be a bard, cause bard is always the answer. Use the bloodline to make every level effectively two levels and have as many levels that stack my IC. Then get as many attacks as possible for DFI. I obviously can't fit all of these in due to prerequisites but i don't know which ones to take. And is it worth taking any of the levels that only ups my uses perday? Also whats best to fill in the gaps.

Hmm... I had a build thread bookmarked from the old boards1.wizards.com forums that I particularly liked, but of course they've reorganized their site a couple times and the link doesn't work anymore.

But the whole 20 dip thing is a surprisingly common thread topic. Here's a few:

20 levels, 20 classes (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234293)
The One Challenge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223669)
Could someone provide a build (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167981)
Most multiclasses (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125345)
20-level challenge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41822)

I didn't look closely to see if any of them touch on your specific Bard build idea, though.

Yeah the problem with those is no one ever suggested a bard build, i even participated in one of those and i didn't think to go bard at the time. Nor did i know the amount of broken cheese that could be employed.

Oh also if there is any way of getting this character 16 BAB that would be wonderful. It can't be to far of as it is.

You forgot this one: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14468709#post14468709.

I don't think there are enough bard classes out there to get full IC progression. You'd probably best off with a sublime chord caster bard build.

I doubt it, at least not without partial BAB. Pretty much all the Bard PrCs are 3/4 BAB, except for the Dawncaller, Fochlucan Lyrist, and Warchanter (don't know about the Spellsinger), so if you dip into a lot of Bard PrCs, you're going to have a pretty bad BAB.

Although I have no idea what the bloodline stuff you reference does.

NO! Never again! Get out while you can! *curls up in fetal position*

If you want 16 Bab you'll have to focus on martial classes.

How much Bard Music bonus are you getting from dipping all of those classes? Going past a +1 IC might not be worth the investment.

Personally, Bloodlines cross the line from silly experiment right onto the point where your DM goes "AHA! I knew there was a reason you weren't staying in one class! You munchkin!"

Nope i'm already in too deep, this is too fun. So many things to keep track of though.

Yeah i kind of thought bloodlines wouldn't be in the spirit of the idea but hey if the gm is going to allow it i'm going to use it. And out of all those classes i can only take 10 that give me a bonus to the effectiveness of my IC.

I thought i said in the OP that we are using fractional BAB.
