I am playing as a Focused Specialist Conjurer that just entered Malconvoker at level 6. I have Spell focus (conj), Augment Summoning, Extend Spell, Meta magic school focus (conj) and Sculpt spell for my feats.

In my campaign, my GM seems to be feeding us a lot of Spider related monsters (monkey riding spiders, giant spiders, dryders, etc) and the occasional undead. We are guessing that the evil antagonist is some drow or drider cleric and we are inadvertently thwarting his evil plan...

My best spells (Grease, Glitterdust, and Web) are largely useless against these types of opponents. While I still have useful bufs (haste and enlarge person), my battlefield control spells are pretty much limited to Benign Transposition and Dimension Step.

What spells/strategies should I use against the spidery hordes?

About the only thing I can think of is swap out a sculpted glitterdust for a sculpted Cloud of Bewilderment so I have at least ONE debuff that can be used on them.

Umm, how is Glitterdust not effective? It isn't mind affecting and doesn't allow spell resistance, so it works on undead and constructs. It's useful against pretty much everything.

You entered Malconvoker and haven't started summoning? What?

Well, besides that, I'd suggest you start using Haboob more. Icelance is also fun. As Deadline has mentioned, glitterdust continues to be awesome. Use Grease for undead and use Cloud of Bewilderment for all. These will help you continue your battlefield control goodness.
