Does Consecrate Battlefield dispel any current desecrated effects and replace it? Or does it merely dispel Desecrate?

If memory serves me unless the spell is specifically used to dispel another spell (such as haste dispelling slow) the effects simply overlap. In the case of dispelling, it's as if you cast dispel magic without the need for a dispel magic check.

[Light] and [Darkness] spells have their own extra addendum which says that any lower level spell of the opposite descriptor is suppressed while inside its area, but this doesn't carry over to things like desecrate/consecrate.
