Hello again playground. Normally I ask about things I have at least a small understanding of, this time sadly I am turning blindly to you with no knowledge besides what I have made so far with the build that I will be posting up here shortly.

Anyways I have heard a lot about the Ironman build and such and in a game I am in there happens to be a high priest dedicated to trade, true neutral and everything. And I was thinking why not make her an Ironman build, what I noticed though was that a lot of the builds have to deal with Warlock and being a warforged. Is my build doomed from the get go by being an artifactor and a human, or is there a way to make this work? The level I am working with is 17. If you all could help me it would be really appreciated. Thank you all. Even just a few friendly pointers would be great.

Like Ironman from the Comics, or a literal Ironman?

The Clockwork Armour (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/cw/20070212a) might be a good place to start if you're looking at a class with Heavy Armour Proficiency.

A Fighter 2/Soulknife 3/Soulbow 10 can wear that armour, shoot bolts of energy out of its hands and get items to assist its flight. Take the Bonus Feat ACF (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070214a) to replace the Soulknife's Psychic Strike at level 3, and you could probably snag a few levels of Ur-Priest at the end for some spells.

Of course, if your DM doesn't allow the Clockwork Armour then there's always the Monk's Belt on a Warforged with normal fortification (which does not, in fact, count as armour. The free +2 AC is nice.).
