As the title suggests, how good is the Crypt Breaker archetype?
It's for a character in the "jade regent" adventure path, but I don't know how common undead and construct are in it(and if it's worth giving up bomb damage against other things).

One of the more useful things to do with your bombs is to use them for battlefield control. If you set up your alchemist with the right discoveries to do this you won't usually be using your bombs for damage anyway.

The main reason for it is to get Trapfinding onto your Alchemist. Trapfinding isn't as vital in PF as it is in 3.5, but it does help, and Alchemists are more useful to have around than rogues anyway.

The archetype's usefulness really depends on how much your DM likes to use traps. Note that most traps can be handled just as well by a Preservationist, who can summon disposable minions to trigger them instead while also bringing more power and utility to the table.
