How is the pathfinder handbook?

I don't game but I like reading rules and fluff. How is the pathfinder handbook in that regard?

Basically the same as 3.x. However, when I first read the core rulebook was the first time in years I actually was interested in reading about a lot of new classes and feats. I wanted to roll up one of every character. And when the archetypes came along in later splatbooks I wanted to read play even more.
