How much money in your opinion should the noble class start with? It more or less says they are rich in the character description, and as far as class abilities go it seems sort of mediorce, so a pretty large starting gold sum seems like a nice counter to the abilities.

How about 6d8 x 10 GP like the NPC aristocrat from the DMG.

Still seems relatively poor for a noble, but I suppose its highly campaign specific.

it's actually a lot of gold. and the average adventurer will not have full access to his families gold because they tend to be young. the head of the family would control the majority of the gold.

if you give him too much more you will wreak the WBL before you even play. this is already enough to get a masterwork weapon with a decent roll.

Why not make wealth a class feature. Like each level up the player gets more of their inheritance. Could also be useful family relics.

Or maybe a gold stipend. Every season they get 1/10 WBL (up to a max of level 10 or something) as free money?

seconded, shouldn't overpower such a simple class.
