After changing the Ability Score into elemental affinities (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282628) and (almost) defining the archetypes (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282651) it is time to tackle "general mechanic changes". This will probably not be finished soon since there is a lot I want to change, but I need to start somewhere.:smallbiggrin:

First thing I need to change is to add action points.
Every turn you get 3 action points.
Basic abilities require no action points.
Higher level abilities require 1-3 action points, usually 2.
If you wish to spend your action points on movement every action point allows you to move your full movement range.
You can use only one basic action ability and one higher level ability per round.
You can store up to 3 action points for later use.

To use a higher level ability you must first "charge it".
Every basic ability that you use gives you one "charge point".
Every higher level ability has it's "charge cost", usually from 1 to 3.
Every class has 6 basic ability.
Basic abilities can not be used in succession, they all have a two round cooldown.

With the inclusion of elemental affinities there is no need for BAB and Saves, so they are removed.
