Hey guys,

I just found out about this new steampunk MMO and they are just going into beta. I was wondering if anyone in the playground was already playing or might be interested in getting a Playground group together to explore the new game?

It's called City of Steam (http://cos.r2games.com/), and it looks pretty awesome. Would anyone like to join a playground group of steampunk explorers and have awesome online adventures?

Really glad to see the interest so far. Added a list to keep organize usernames!

If you sign up, post your username and we'll add it to the list!

Looks interesting. IF I start playing... female goblin or female Hobbes. Gunner either way, of course.

Seems interesting enough. Though the last R2 game I played turned into a pay 2 win type game so you might want to watch for that.

I created an Aven Arcanist by the name of Arkavix (yea I know, alot of A's).

My biggest problems with MMOs is that most require cooperation (raids etc). And yes, I know, it's sort of the point of the game, but when you only can play 30-40 minutes a day, if you are lucky, having to invest in things like that is just not possible.

Any idea what the system requirements are?

They seem to be pretty low. It uses Unity Web player.

Seconded. I played an Archer on Wartune for a few months, and every single week saw more and more pay2win crap added.

Trying it out so far, just did the tutorial, it's not so bad. There's another major patch coming out in two weeks, where they are introducing even more races and classes, and raising the level cap. As someone who only has about 30 minutes to an hour to play each day, I like it so far; it's easy to play and easy to put down and pick up again when I want. Plus the art in the game is very Steampunk and very nice.

If you haven't already, put down your username and I'll add you to the Playground group!
