EDIT: Nevermind, I was just being thick.

So I just noticed something. In comic #886 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0886.html) we see that Belkar is dead, and Elan even points it out, but at the end of the strip Belkar, Elan, Haley and Roy are all seen under the spell of the illusion (I'm guessing it's an illusion) shown by the swirling eyes.

So I have 3 possible guesses as to what is going on:

1) It's merely a mistake.

2) The spell is powerful enough to affect people who are dead

3) This could in some twisted way be Belkar's happy ending rather than Haley's, Roy's or Elan's (Which seems to be the three people are debating).

So what are your thoughts?

...I don't understand.

I understand, "Huh, why is Belkar alive again? I don't think it was an illusion."

I understand, "I get it, Belkar never actually died."

I don't understand, "An illusion! But we and the Order saw Belkar die, so how is he still alive? Is the illusion powerful enough to affect dead people?"

Try option 4): An illusion shows things that aren't actually happening; no one died.

And Now I've just gone and re-read the comics again and yeah I understand now. Woops. I thought the last panel was still in sequence with the rest, rather than a cut away.
