As a DM, how do you prefer to do your notes? Are you note heavy? Or just mark down important things your players do along the way? Just have an outline? How do you prefer to do it and why?
Personally I come prepared with very little notes. I have a general outline of how the night is going to go, have important names written down, and I let my players bring up plot points for me. I obviously throw in little things to make them want to continue, but it is up for them to choose to continue the plot. I like to run it more open ended sandbox style, with little notes. Just my style, what is yours?
