Will the anthromorphic thing work on dinosaurs? They haven't got any listed stats for them and some of the changes are pretty vague.

I've got most of the stuff written down, but I'm unsure if I've done it correctly.

Medium Monsterous Humanoid
2HD (d8?)
Speed 60 feet (it didn't say anything about changing if it was bipedal)
AC: size changes from -1 to a 0, +5 natural (would that stay the same?)
Attacks: Would the talon, foreclaw and bite stay?
Special Attack: Pounce
Special Qualities: Dark vision to 60 feet (would they keep the original qualities?)
Saves: 0 Fort, +3 Ref, +3 Will
Abilities: Int becomes 11, +2 Wis, +4 Cha, Str/Dex/Con change by size. (What does that mean?!)
Skills: Same as base creature (like... the skills are class abilities or the bonuses they had stay?)
Feats: ---
CR: 4
Alignment: Any
Advancement: class
LA: ---

This is confusing to me :smallfrown:

Hit dice is perfect.

Speed is fine.

I don't see any change needed for AC, it still remains medium.

Attacks and pounce stay.

Darkvision is fine as is any other qualities.

Saves are good.

Skills are same as base for the first two hd there.

Feats, it does get 1 feat (not sure if that was left out on purpose) - It seems to imply they don't get feats but we know 1hd gets a feat.

CR is good.

The feat(s) were left out because of the wording. I'd read it as unless they've got a finesse feat, they don't have one.

That's fine for bonus feats but they do get one for having at least 1HD.

Would it be one of the two they had beforehand?
Also, thank you.

Searching around a little, I found a discussion (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45462) saying anthropomorphic wasn't very well thought out, which pointed to this homebrew thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37036). However, there's an attempt to amend the homebrew version of the template near the end (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3887534&postcount=59) of that thread. Might be useful. Both versions suggested losing all feats of the original form and picking them normally. I don't think you're stuck choosing between run or track only. Deinonychus seems thought of as being not especially fast (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deinonychus#Speed), I guess, so there's that too.

This was quite helpful, thank you
