Hi all,

I have a query about the [Air] descriptor. Is there any way to add it to a spell (or to remove the [Fire], [Water], or [Earth] descriptors)?

In a similar vein, is it possible to call metamagic-enhanced spells from the Spellpool (Mage of the Arcane Order) or Divine Spellpool (Skypledged)?

Hmm... I know there are published ways to swap energy descriptors, but I can't think of any for substituting air, water and earth.

Some searching revealed an old prestige class someone homebrewed which gets the ability to add the air descriptor to spells with certain other descriptors at 9th level. Skylord of Tuilviel Glithien (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/archive/index.php?t-92327.html) doesn't look like it ever received any review by others. That example of adding [Air] to a wall of stone seems a bit silly, but I suppose any magic system can only ever make so much sense.

Hmmmm, it's worth a look.
