Is there a god with the Lance as their favoured weapon?

I can't find one and I fear it doesn't exist... :(

Eligos (http://www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Eligos), an infernal duke, gets it, and he's someone I could imagine a Lawful Neutral cleric worshipping.

I'm not sure where you'd find it short of homebrew, but anybody who is an Odin clone should have it.

Does it have to be a major deity? There are plenty of minor deities without full descriptions, or you and the GM could make one up.

Odin was decidedly Spear-oriented. The lance is a specifically mounted weapon, and the vikings didn't go in for mounted combat, what with stirrups not having been invented yet in their heyday. That, and the whole boat thing.

True, I'll write that off to a brain fart due to it being late. I bet Medieval Odin would upgrade to a lance, though.

I doubt it. D&D advantages aside, fighting on foot with a spear is very different than fighting mounted with a lance. I can't imagine Odin wanting to trade one for the other.

It can be any.

Preferably goodish though, may just talk to GM to homebrewing it.

If you with with a philosophy/ideal instead of deity, you can, at least by raw(and likely rai), select any weapon as the favoured weapon.

Plus, there were the mounted Valkyries, and Odin totally had Sleipnir. The Vikings may not have been much for mounts, but their pantheon had a few running around.

Your average viking might ride to the battlefield, but he'd dismount and do his fighting on foot. Neither valkyries or Odin were noted for fighting from horseback.

That's not a complete list though, I mean, I know Apsu provides the Scalykind domain and he's Lawful Good.

Heh, the only reason his moveset didn't seem completely stupid was the existence of another guy w/ a "canon spear" in the same game. I did like Nagamasa, though. He stole Ma Chao's iconic spear plant --> spin around it kicking move, it's impossible not to like that one.

You are correct in that it is not a complete list.
But given that I said "last _I_ checked" and that I'm the one who compiled that list, I'm still right :smalltongue:

A little digging reveals 2 minor Evil deities with Lance as Weapon of choice
Geon LE (http://www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Geon)
Eligos NE (http://www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Eligos)

Yes... the "cannon spear" was the most absurd weapon in that game/series...right...
