Hey guys. : )

So since I am a complete derp when it comes to levelling up, can anyone provide any information on the general subject of? Like when can you learn new feats, do Armor Class/ability modifiers/Base Attack Modifiers/etc. increase and all that good important stuff.

This should be a good place to start. The page you are really looking for is at the beginning of the Classes Chapter in the Player's handbook. Please support d&D by buying one.

Most of the stuff is just listed on the classes themselves. That includes stuff like BAB and saves. If you multiclass or prestige class, you just add the attack bonuses and saves together. Thus, a fighter 4/cleric 4 would have a base attack bonus of +7, and saves of fort: +8, ref:+2, and will: +5. You learn new feats at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18. You also gain an ability score increase of one at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20. You never increase your AC based on level. That's everything you listed, I think, though you can ask if there are any other things.

If you play Pathfinder, the link is this one: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/character-advancement. You can also find it in the Core Rulebook, please support Paizo by buying one .

The main difference is that you get you new feats on every odd-numbered level, so 1, 3, 5, 7, ...
